Hotel un peu vieux et pas renové. Pas de clim ce qui est très genant quand les fenetres ne s'ouvrent que de peu. Petit dejeuner proposé assez moyen. Les draps et serviettes changés tous les jours mais aucun menage n'est fait et ce meme avec un sejour de 10jours. Ceci dit, l'hotel est bien placé dans Hvar, la vue est magnifique. Le personnel de l'hotel est plutot aimable.

Parait pour un court séjour entre amis
Chambre propre et assez grande, service très gentil, petit déjeuner satisfaisant face à la mer, et tres bon emplacement. L'hôtel reste ancien et possede donc des côtés vieillots (on ne peut pas faire du neuf avec du vieux !) mais c'est parfait pour passer une ou deux nuits entre amis pour visiter le centre et y sortir le soir. (Pas de climatisation mais un petit ventilateur.)

Positif. Très bien placé , au bord de mer et du port. Négatif. Chambres mal insonorisées, salle de bain en mauvais état, beaucoup de bruit de l'extérieur que l'on entent même du côté extérieur. Avantageux niveau prix, pour le reste.......

le delfin hôtel est idéal pour des étudiants
Cet hôtel est idéal pour des étudiants ! Il est situé à 50m d'une boîte de nuit sur la droite et à 100m sur la gauche du kiva bar qui est un endroit parfait pour faire des rencontres. Pour aller profiter du soleil 3 à 4 minutes de marche est nécessaires pour avoir un endroit où s'allonger. L'hôtel dispose d'une superbe vue sûrement la meilleure d'Hvar. Il n'y a pas de luxe, mais aux vues des prix pratiqués cela suffie amplement ! La nourriture du matin est classique dans sa composition et bonne. Le personnel est très poli et accueillant, ils sont présents à la moindre demande. Je le recommande aux étudiants pour les prix attractifs et les sorties ! Par contre je ne sais pas si cela plaira à des actifs aux vues de l'ancienneté de l'hôtel qui n'est pas non plus un 5 étoile.

This is a review for the Amfora Hvar Hotel as the Delfín Hvar Hotel was closed and I was changed over to their Amfora property. This is a really nice hotel and a beautiful location.

The hotel is located along the water so the view from the room was very nice. The hotel itself could use some updating, the carpets are pretty worn and there was no air conditioning. The room itself was large, clean and comfortable.

Location of the front reception of the hotel was great, just off the waterfront but rooms were to far from the waterfront and behind buildings to be considered a sea view in my opinion. Rooms were mediocre to say it nicely. Bed was ok but that was the highlight. No air conditioning apart from one blow fan and toilet area looked like it was last remodeled in the 60’s. Breakfast was ok but it was standard continental breakfast and quality of produce weren’t that high.

Bestilte rom på dette hotellet, da det lå sentralt på Hvar og bildene så bra ut. Rommet var så varmt at det var nesten uforsvarlig å sove der. Er ingen aircondition der. Måtte ligge med kalde våte håndklær i senga for å få sove. Rommet var veldig slitt og luktet gammelt. Anbefales ikke!

Nice and Central around Hvar Harbour
Nice hotel in a very nice location at the centre of all lively bars and clubs around Hvar Harbour. The room itself is basic and a downside was there was no air-conditioning in my room and it proved to be very hot during my stay there, I do not know about other rooms or did not ask. The service from hotel staff and restaurant bar was great and cannot fault anything else during my stay.

It wasn't the hotel that we booked. We booked the Delfin bevause of its proximity to the harbour and the Pharos (while a perfectly good hotel) was much further away on foot, particularly for a partly disabled member of our party.

Det var ikke air condicion, vi sporte om en ny vifte men fikk ikke det. I løpet av oppholdet ble det heller ikke vasket, så det kom dyr på rommet. Frokosten var helt ok, ble servert eggerøre hver dag. Det var heller ikke brannalarm på hotellrommet, heller ikke ute i gangen utfor rommet. Eneste stedet vi så brannalarm var i resepsjonen

Stay at the Delfin Hvar Hotel!
Ok, I was lucky as I had a room at the back of the hotel with a bathroom window and it was cool. My friends who also stayed were allocated in the front rooms and it is a hotbox. There is a fan, but will circulate hot air unless you were in a room like mine. My room was located on the 4th floor, but the lift only goes up to the 3rd, so be prepared for a short climb up stairs. Another note to add is that all of the rooms are twin rooms. It is a little dated, but you get what you pay for. Staff were very friendly, explained things really well (including the correct price for island tax) and the sports bar was great as was there for the world cup and was buzzing all of the time. Breakfast is what you would expect for a buffet (hot and cold food) and was tasty. Use that to your advantage as can be expensive eating out in Hvar, so top up on breakfast if you are on a budget. Hotel is centrally located to bars, the ferry and sea taxis to take you to other islands. Beaches are nearby too which is handy for topping up on the tan. If you want to crash your head and have fun every night, this place is for you and will stay there again.

Unfortunately I attended when there was a heat wave with outdoor temperatures being around 36 degrees. I had a room on the top floor and it was so hot in there that it was unbearable. The staff are lovely but the hotel itself really needs air conditioning
