Beautifully furnished Fully equipped kitchen & coffee bar Brand new queen-size Tempurpedic bed Business desk 2GB fiber WIFI 2 Roku Smart TVs w/ Hulu, Netflix, Prime, Apple TV Outdoor dining & seating area Spotless! The Space: THE KITCHEN How about a kitchen you can actually cook in! I love cooking, so I know how important a functional kitchen is. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, oven, four-burner stove, dual sink, garbage disposal, microwave, and filtered water. There is also a complete set of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. But as lovely as the kitchen is, you still need some flavor. You will find many spices, including cayenne, crushed red pepper, cinnamon, Italian seasoning, all-purpose seasoning, basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. We have a Keurig machine with Pete's and/or Starbucks coffee for you coffee lovers. Olde Towne Coffee, Huntsville's specialty coffee roaster, is just a block away if you prefer something a bit more gourmet! THE BEDROOM The bedroom has a brand new queen-sized Tuft & Needle Mint mattress that is truly amazing. I liked the bed so much that I have bought four of them so far! There are also two soft and two firm pillows and extra blankets. There is an office desk with a charging station, a desk lamp, a full walk-in closet with an iron, an ironing board, a clothes hamper, a first-aid kit, and extra linens. A wall-mounted Roku Smart TV allows you to log in to any streaming service, including Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, HBO, Showtime, etc. THE LIVING AREA The living area is cozy and perfect for reading or conversation. A pair of velvet Chesterfield chairs and a bar are ready to sip wine and spirits. Plus, another Roku Smart TV. THE BATHROOM Shower/tub combo with handheld shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a complete set of amenities, including toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, razor, shaving cream, and even feminine products, just in case you forgot something. Additionally, there is a stacked washer and dryer for doing your laundry, with 7 Generation detergent and dryer sheets. THE FRONT PORCH A covered porch faces east and is perfect for watching the sunrise while sipping on your coffee and enjoying the rose garden in the summer. A cafe table for two allows for outdoor dining. We have tried to think of every amenity and comfort we would want while traveling. Our "Nest" is truly a home away from home. GREEN POWER! It is worth noting that all electricity used in the Nest is 100% renewable solar power provided by TVA's Green Switch Program. Guest Access: A keycode, unique to you, is available for entry. We would be happy to greet you if you would like a complete rundown of the property and answer any questions you may have about the area and where to eat, shop, or enjoy nature. We live in the same building, so if you need anything, please ask. Please park along the right side of the driveway or across the street, whichever is available. The Neighborhood: Located between Five Points and Old Town historical districts in Huntsville. This townhouse is central to downtown, the medical district, Huntsville Hospital, Big Spring Park, and Monte Sano Nature Preserve. It is located near Interstate 565, so getting anywhere in Huntsville is very quick and easy. Bridgestreet Town Centre, NASA, Research Park, the Space & Rocket Center, Space Camp, UAH, Huntsville Botanical Gardens, Von Braun Center, Propst Arena, Mark C Smith Concert Hall, Mars Music Hall, VBC Playhouse, Redstone Arsenal, Monte Sano State Park, Orion Amphitheater, and HudsonAlpha are all just minutes away. The Huntsville International Airport is approximately 15 minutes away. Getting Around: The beauty of staying at this property is that you can literally walk to almost anything. For example, there is a Star Supermarket & Pharmacy, Propst Discount Drugs, Walker's Market, and Family Dollar Store where you can pick up all your food, medicine, and essentials. As for dining out, there is a Waffle House, Hardees, Tenders, Thai Garden, The Curry, Ted's Barbecue, Big Ed's Pizza, 1892 Restaurant & Tavern, Olde Towne Coffee, and many more. There are also several hair salons, a florist, a nail salon, a pet store, a dry cleaner, and a music store, all within walking distance. If you want to go into downtown Huntsville for even more dining, bars, and shopping, it is about a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk. And Monte Sano State Park is just 5 miles up the street. It’s truly the best VRBO property I’ve ever stayed in. The Hosts, Steve & Cathleen, are great Hosts, who have always truly cared for my needs when “The Nest” has been available for me to stay in. It’s close to the medical district of Huntsville Hospital & multiple specialists. It’s comfortable, clean & safe feeling always. It’s the best place to stay, close to all your wants & needs when in Huntsville! It’s #1😃👍‼️ ##### Debi D. The furnishings are all very comfortable, and I loved having a fully stocked kitchen. When you first walk in the front door, a lovely foyer leads you to your private room (apartment). There is an access code on the front door and the door to your room. Inside, you will find a quaint sitting room with a large TV on the wall, a full-size washer and dryer, a kitchen with all the necessities, a separate bedroom with a huge walk-in closet, and a full bath. Steve has thought of everything that a traveler might need for a stay. The bed was listed as a queen but felt like a full size bed. My husband is 6' 2 and was uncomfortable. The listing did not show that the owners are also living in the complex, which we just prefer not to have on site. Overall the place is beautiful, clean and well stocked. There is a train that runs at 2:19 am every day and if you are a light sleeper, it will wake you up. This is not on the owners or the complex, more like rude guests that didn't follow the rules for staying at this location, but quiet hour was at 11 pm. til morning. Someone was washing clothes at 12:19 am (could hear running water, and the spin cycle for a while). We did have an ant problem in the bathroom which was reported to the owner. I’ve lived in Alabama and Tennessee my whole life and I had never explored the Huntsville area!! My husband and I wanted to see what the fastest growing area in Alabama was all about! Our stay here at The Nest was the perfect location!!! I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place! Very quiet and private!!! The hosts furnished everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. When we are back in Huntsville, we will definitely stay again!!! ##### Annette K.
