Escape to the South Bay Lakehouse, a truly magical waterfront cottage in the District of Muskoka that can sleep up to 7 guests. Resting on a meticulously maintained 2.8-acre property with 311 feet of frontage on peaceful Foote Lake, this cottage is the perfect retreat for a tranquil getaway. The property features a sediment and UV water filter, as well as full heating and air conditioning for added comfort. In addition, the Lakehouse has two televisions for guests to enjoy and has a desk and full High Speed Starlink wifi internet, allowing guests to watch TV or work remotely, making it a great choice for those looking for a workcation or digital nomads. Whether you're looking to unwind, hike in the nearby woods, or simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lake, this Lakehouse is the ideal place to do it all.  
  
Located just 24 km from downtown Huntsville, the South Bay Lakehouse is accessible by a scenic country drive down a private, dead-end laneway surrounded by mature forest and sunshine-soaked lawns. The solid bungalow boasts an open concept design with main floor principal rooms, including a primary bedroom with access to a sunny balcony overlooking the lake.  
  
The lower level features a bright and spacious rec room perfect for entertaining or snuggling up with family and friends for a movie night. The lower level also features two large bedrooms, an additional Queen sofa bed, a second full bathroom, a spacious laundry room, and a neat-as-a-pin utility room.  
  
Step outside and enjoy the gentle topography leading down to the natural sand beach shoreline and dock. Foote Lake offers the perfect balance of friendly neighboring cottages and untouched crown land to preserve the natural beauty of the area. Surrounded by lush forest and pristine shorelines, this lake is the perfect place for a relaxing paddle with our canoes, kayak or paddle board. As you paddle along the calm waters, take in the beauty of the natural surroundings and let the stress of daily life slip away.  
  
For groceries, the area boasts a number of well-stocked supermarkets, each offering a wide variety of fresh produce, dairy, meat, and pantry staples. There's also a farmers' market located in downtown Huntsville, where you can purchase locally-grown produce and unique handmade goods. The Hope’s “More Than A Grocery Store” Clover Farm, which also has an LCBO inside, is a quick 15 minute drive.
