Excellent service! Travis in Cabo Wabo was a great waiter. The coffee was excellent. The housekeeping staff was kind and courteous.

It is difficult to give a review since we weren't able to check in until 4:00 p.m. We showered and went out to dinner and came back and went to bed. Left at 8:00 a.m. My husband tried to use the jacuzzi at 5:00 p.m. but it was so crowded he had to leave. They closed the one pool area at 4:00 p.m. -- wasn't sure why.

Way too loud at night…between PCH right out front with motorcycles and loud cars at all hours of the night and then also people above us were loud. Our room also had a-joining doors on both sides of our room with people whose conversations you could hear word for word. Sound proofing or updating the rooms to be sound proof would be a great idea!!!

The Hotel was upgraded since our last visit. Stayed in a suite and it was really nice. My only complaint is the valet parking at $40 a day does give you in and out privileges but everytime you want your vehicle you are expected to tip everytime. You would think this would be included in the daily fee. If you aren’t planning on using your vehicle a lot no big deal.

I enjoyed our stay, but for the money I’d say it was mediocre. What was good: Location Great staff Pools were clean and good temperatures Lovely views Not so good: The oceanfront suite we were in needs dramatic updates. Awful bed and pillows. Towels were also terrible, and it was dated in general. Though it was fairly clean The food poolside was not good, had multiple food items on multiple days and all were not good. Bartenders were great. The food in the Cabo Wabo was outrageously overpriced for the buffet for the quality and even temperature of the food (mostly cold) and in general was a poor experience. This was a very mixed visit and a mixed property, we saw updated rooms while walking on our floor and perhaps they were better, not sure. But for the $600 we paid per night, meh.. We likely won’t be back.

There were too many locals using the pool. It made it very hard to get a seat around the pool. They were very friendly but made it very hard for us who spent all that money to secure a seat by the pool. Also the pool attendant was wrapped up in ten towels and on her phone instead of monitoring the slide. She was a girl with corn rows.

We booked a partial ocean view but when we arrived they said they no longer had that room available but would upgrade us but the upgraded room was not ready yet. To me it was not an upgrade. The room was on the ground level next to the pool which didn’t provide any privacy and was also loud. After we waited 30 mins the room was still not ready. By this point I didn’t care what room, my kids were exhausted and we just wanted to lay down. They finally put us in a room. This resort did not meet expectations. On a positive side it is a great location for Huntington Beach.

It was so nice! I just wish I would have known about the $50 valet fee each night. We loved everything else about our stay. So close to the ocean, clean, loved the room balcony!

Great location and amenities. We had a problem with our room safe which was inoperable. Staff twice said they would rectify, but after a couple days we just gave up and hauled our valuables to the beach and pool add they failed to follow up with us. The manager however, genuinely addressed our concerns and made things right at check out. This level of service was much appreciated !

Close walk to the beach was excellent! The location of this hotel was amazing! Close to walkable shops and having the beach across from it was amazing! I would definitely come back and stay here again!

The staff at this hotel was so wonderful and friendly. This hotel is a 5 Star resort without the snobbiness. The pools are great the rooms were clean. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the beach and to shopping and dining. We wish we could have stayed longer but will be back over the summer.

We went for our honeymoon and the experience was amazing. We had champagne courtesy of the hotel, and the staff including the room service food was pleasant and delicious. We will be back soon.

My room was amazing. I had the best views to the ocean in a corner suite! The valet and bell boy service was a wait a bit unusual from what I’m accustomed to. Otherwise, I had a great stay!

Easy check in. Complimentary truffles which check in at desk which was nice. We don’t drink but they did offer complimentary bottle of champaign which was a nice gesture. So far this place is extremely nice and I would for sure stay here again.
