Take a trip to Raystown Lake, Juniata River for fishing and floating, take in a Penn State Game (all within a short drive from the property) or stay and relax, take in the beautiful views, BBQ on the patio while the kids play on the playset. Beautiful 4,000 sq ft of serene living space with deck overlooking the ridge. This property is secluded in a wooded area however quiet hours are between 11pm-8am as to be polite to our mountain neighbors. Custom hickory wood flooring through out first level. Featuring a chef's kitchen equipped with a 48" double oven with convection and griddle, 6 burners and double granite counter top/eating bar, custom Amish made hickory cabinetry through out. Dining area with custom made 10 ft table with expandable leaves with bench on one side. Living room has gas fireplace with custom Amish made wood mantel, 24ft ceilings, and custom Amish made railings to the loft above. Enjoy the main level Master bedroom including a beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub and standing shower. Additional bedroom on main floor with queen size bed. Loft area has full bath with tub and two bedrooms each with two double beds. The lower level features a wet bar, full bathroom and three bedrooms. The patio has multiple eating areas with Blackstone griddle for grilling purposes, a hammock and fire pit. Yard has Ninja Warrior Play Set and swing set for children. Just a couple days before our arrival, a lightning strike knocked out the central AC. Unfortunately, due to the holiday weekend, parts couldn’t be delivered in time for our visit.That said, the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, buying and providing multiple portable air conditioning units throughout the house, which kept things cool and pleasant. Hosts - The hosts were so helpful and had quick communication for any of our needs or questions we had. The hosts sent us a video to get to the place and it was easy to follow. I had a hard time entering the passcode to get in, completely user error on my part, and they sent out.their maintenance person, and he was there within 10 minutes to help us. The place: The pictures do not do it justice. It is so beautiful so spacious and so accommodating. It is a great place to stay and disconnect, if you want to do that. There is entertainment ( games, arcade, pool table, and pinball machine). They have a swingset for children and a training spot for American Ninja Warrior! We were less than an hour to Penn State which was our primary objective to attend the football game! Would I stay here again?? Hot tub was already turned on and heated up which was nice - there were plenty of towels in the house for everyone - the beds were very comfy with adequate bedding. Only small issues were being dumb and not understanding the kitchen faucet, which was motion sensor! Figured that out eventually. Also had some issues using the ovens. Items weren't being cooked evenly - again could of been us being dumb again. Small details would not prevent us from coming back. We loved our stay and will keep it on our list for next year. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. The kids loved all the gaming options, and the adults enjoyed playing those early days video games we grew up with!
