The fauna is just as great as the view of the ocean and Vieques. So much so we had planned for a day outing into the rainforest and decided against it because we were so at peace hanging out on the property. We didn’t even bother with the AC. As a traveler we know the choice is sacrifice a moderate stay for a breathtaking outdoor scenery or modern interior with a ok outside. This home is an authentic Puerto Rican rain forest stay. If you want to feel the authentic experience of living in a rainforest this is your stay. Tom was the most hospitipal host ever. You mustttt driveee. You must have a vehicle to get around. I used Uber and it was difficult for them to find the home because it’s nestled in the rainforest. The infinity pool is nice and warm and has lights on it at night. It is a stay for 2 but can .acommadate 4\. There aren’t enough word to describe how beautiful this stay is. The inside is lived in but the view and landscape is one you’ll never forget. We didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we’d have liked to, but the pool and the apartment were really nice. Nothing fancy but a great experience nonetheless. It can be a little confusing to find and the directions thru the booking are not accurate at all. You’re better off asking Tomas to drop a pin at his location and following that instead of any other directions. Trust me on this one. Also, you are basically in the jungle! The night creatures are VERY loud, so bring some earplugs. I enjoyed the experience very much but it may not be for everyone. Second, the pool is great. The grounds are lush and well kept. You also have access to the BBQ. Bring ear plugs because like the rest of Puerto Rico the coqui are loud at night.The apartment is cozy and has a good kitchen and there is a grocery store nearby. It's centrally located and you are only 30 or 40 minutes from the main spots you'll want to visit.The only negative is also one of the place's strengths. El área es sumamente verde, se destaca la naturaleza y hay una vista preciosa desde la piscina. Hay varias galerías para pintar, áreas para acampar con fogatas y pequeños spots para apreciar la naturaleza incluyendo una vista impresionante de Humacao y Vieques. La piscina era muy bonita, tenía una cascada y luces de noche, el calentador tuvo problemas durante nuestra estadía pero aún así disfrutamos mucho. Tomás fue muy atento, nos explicó todito sobre el airbnb e incluso hizo el gesto de prestarnos su bocina sin pedírselo. Fue muy amable y cualquier duda que teníamos la contestaba sin problema.
