« We were greatly surprised by the seclusion and vastness of the area. The photos on Vrbo do not properly represent this remodeled property! I suggest the owners update the gallery. There ARE window treatments in the bedrooms and the owners have created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated the welcome book with its suggestions and recommendations for local fare. « It was a great property. Centrally located for good tourism opportunities. The house had pretty much everything we needed, other than a mop. If we come back, I would definitely bring a baby gate to keep my small child safe. »

« Our family had a great time staying at the sunshine shack! Lots of room, never felt like we were on top of each other. The basement game area was great for our teens and adults. Extra fridge in the garage made storing everyone’s food simple. The park across the street was great for the younger kids and a family game of kickball. Just one wish would be for a second bathroom but did not ruin our stay at all. We would definitely stay again! »

« The property was amazing. It fit our large family very well. It was completely stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, and even little extras like some firewood, bug spray, tools, and lotion. We enjoyed watching some movies that were provided when the rain came through, and the outside fire pit every evening, which came with chairs and a small table. The place was very clean, and we will definitely be renting it again when we come to town. 10/10 rental. »

My son is celiac so we brought our own pans and such but the kitchen had all the necessities if we had needed them to cook! Bathroom had towels and toilet paper and soap too! « If I could give it a 6 star I would. All 10 of us were delighted with the accommodations. Our Host and Hostess supply almost everything you will need. Food and drink are about all you need to bring. Tastefully decorated home,huge bedrooms,spacious bathrooms, 2 dining areas, not including the fire pit. Ample parking for 10 guest, their trailers etc...Did not to leave but works calls. Ran into our Hosts downtown. Great people,with great communication. Will definitely book this home again. 6...

« The house was much bigger than anticipated. I don't feel like the pictures do that justice, but it was a pleasant surprise as we had two families staying in the house with a total of 9 people. The house was clean. One of the AC units stopped working the first night we were there. We messaged Dave, and while we were out exploring the UP the next day, Dave got someone to come out and fix it. He was prompt and very easy to work with. I would stay here again. »
