« this was one of the most comfortable, easy to navigate vacation homes we have ever had. we used the grill, kitchen had everything you need, the deep sinks made washing dishes easy, (there was a dishwasher. but we didn't use it), windows allowed a 180 degree view of the back yard and forest beyond, where we saw a family of deer. Everyone slept like babies on mattresses that were heavenly! Or was super available and responsive to questions. A hannaford super market is 2.3 miles away. Bread Alone...

« This was our 3rd house we've stayed at the houses are always clean and beautiful. Location is private but close enough to shops and restaurants. The hot tub was perfect and clean! The only thing on this one was across the way they are building a house. They were respectful but you may get some noise which I wish I just was told. But house is a 10!! We will staying at the houses again! 😁 »

« Older manufactured home has been updated. We appreciated that each area had its own mini split unit for individual climate control. Area felt safe and quiet. Good hot water and water pressure. Kitchen was stocked for stovetop cooking but not much for baking, and no water glasses. (We just drank everything from the coffee cups.) Split bedroom layout was good for two couples. »

« This is an attractive, well-laid out house with an extremely accommodating owner. The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath. »

« This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby. »

« This is a great place to stay. Clean and comfy and in a beautiful area. We didn't find the promised linens for the sofa bed, but maybe we just weren't looking in the right place. Other than that, we were very pleased... do pay attention to the notes about the stairs... there are a fair few of them. »

« The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river...
