I think they should offer late checkout. Many people Have instances where flights are cancelled and jobs are demanding and 11 just isn’t doable sometimes. I do understand you have to rotate and accommodate all reservations but late check out should be an option. Other then that staff friendly, hotel quite and nice. They do check on you throughout your stay which is nice would stay again.

I have to say the housekeeping staff was excellent! I had a four day stay and the room was cleaned daily without having to ask. I have stayed in different hotels downtown and can honestly say they are the best. The staff was courteous and valets were very gracious. Only thing that was a little annoying were the elevators. But all in all great hotel.

Our stay was excellent, no hiccups aside from the down elevators on our departure. Stairs were not an option due to being on the 10th floor. We waited for an elevator for over 15 minutes(there are 4 elevators). Other than this, it was great.

I was told when I booked our room that we would have a place to park our car and that in was included in the price of our stay. However, that was not the case. We had to park in a parking garage about 4 blocks away and pay $20/night for parking and that was not in and out parking. So that cost added up quite quickly the five nights we were there. We then had issues with our room the first night where the a/c would not shut off and room was VERY cold, so after several phone calls, they switched us to another room at 1am... they did give us complinary breakfast for the inconvenience, but feel they should have given us that for the whole week to make up moving rooms. Then when we got into the new room - getting ready to go to bed and step in somehting wet along side the bed....they had to replace the carpet squares next to the bed. They had five elevators, only two worked when we first got there and were down to "one" by the time we left. We were on the 16th floor, sooooo, it was a long wait and ride each time. They did end up comping one night stay which was much appreciated. However, feel some issues should have been addressed in the begenning rather than later. I feel i should have been compensated for the parking as I was told that was included. So now I'm out $100 for that.... Everyone that works here is VERY polite and courteous and the hotel is beautiful and very clean! I think we just experienced some BAD luck. Wrong place, wrong time!

I didn't like they only had 2 elevators working and the stairs were hazardous, because they were very steep. The charged a premium rate for valet parking, but did not ensure they had the attendants to deliver the cars in a timely manner.

Overall its a great hotel. Very clean and modern with nice antique toiches left after its remodel as decor. The elevators need work as at one point I had to wait for up to 20 minutes to access my room. Also, the obligated valet parking price is outrageously priced at $59. Look for a different parking ramp around block to save yourself money.

I love this hotel! It’s a beautiful historical building with very modern and comfortable spaceous rooms, and a really gorgeous view of the city. The team are great, from reception with Janae, to the breakfast, the checkout, and Cam helping to get my luggage in the cab. The area feels very safe and is close to many nice restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when I visit Houston in the future.

I would definitely recommend staying here especially if u are attending anything at Minute Maid Park. Love the spacious and beautiful room. We had a full view of the city and the bed was some of the best hotel sleep ive had. The only complaints i have is the bathroom sink doesn't have much pressure the shower only has a half door and the water comes out a little bit and i dont understand why they chose bathroom doors that doesn't close but those reasons wont stop me from staying there again
