Entrance to the Olympic National Park at Staircase Rapids and multiple hiking trails are very close by. Just a short drive to the Lake Cushman Golf Course, Driving Range, Disk Golf Course, Pickleball and Tennis courts. Very convenient 12 minute drive to the town of Hoodsport on Hood Canal. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The bed, the sofa, the carpet... everything was just cozy and comfy. There was wood available to start a fire. The neighbor was extremely friendly and helpful. And really the nicest touch was a little basket of 4th of July treats and a few kid friendly items like glow sticks for our stay over the 4th. Check in was a snap and the text reminders and instructions were great. The home was perfect and stocked with anything to enjoy our stay. The private lake access is hardly 5-6 mins drive, good facility and scenic views. We enjoyed our first night stay, however next day morning, there was power outage. It created problem for us since my wife has allergy specific diet and she prefers to cook for herself but we were not able to due to the power outage. The local utilities guys working in the community mentioned that there is no ETA, so we decided to check out. Thankfully, the owner refunded us the remaining stay with no much hassle.
