« Hôte sympathique, à corrigé immédiatement une erreur dans la facturation. Elle nous a laissé utiliser la laveuse-sécheuse moyennant des frais de 5$, très apprécié. Pas de vaisselle autre que des ustensiles. Endroit bien situé. Chambre est propre mais un peu vieillot. Réponds au standard du prix. »

« Good location to take advantage of the Hilo area and the east side of the Big Island. Very clean and safe. Beautiful home. Had just about everything we needed during our stay. We would stay here again, book with confidence. Left us a nice welcome package and included a dozen fresh eggs. Very much appreciated. One little thing, there is a gas grill, but if you use it there is an additional cleaning fee. That should have been disclosed in the property description. »

« We enjoyed this rental so much. It was clean, beautiful, organized and had all the details that make a stay extra enjoyable. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room were all well stocked, the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the yard was gorgeous, the view was spectacular, and the ease of getting in and out of the gated property was the cherry on top. The hosts were super welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. They were the best hosts we’ve ever had....

« The owners are very friendly, we let them know when we were coming and they greeted us when we arrived to walk through the property. In the morning we were greeted with spectacular views of Hilo and fresh bananas from the garden. This property is great for eco-conscious visitors, as the owners make great efforts to reduce their impact on the environment and teach visitors about their efforts as well. A few things to note: despite being about 3 miles outside of Hilo, it takes a solid 10-15...

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« This house was a great place for our 3-day visit to Hilo and the east side of the Big Island. The location is great, and easy to find. The house had everything we needed, and gave us a good sleep and start/end to our days. We didn't spend much time there during the day, as we were out seeing the volcano, driving to the south end of the island, and looking around Hilo. We had a wonderful visit. »

« This home was beautifully amazing and accommodated the entire ‘ohana. It was super clean, private, fenced in and came equipped with all the extras (leftovers from other guests; condiments, spices for cooking, coffee, cooler bags, etc). Falling asleep to the river was so peaceful and it was off the main road, so little traffic. Will definitely be staying here again. Mahalo nui! »

« Overall it was acceptably clean, I too live in Hawaii with open windows and know what to expect. Given the price, this was more than I expected and I enjoyed my stay immensely. The decor was well done and very esthetically pleasing. Fixing the window screens and cleaning the livingroom a/c unit would seem to be an easy fixes to improve the property. »
