It was very close to Akaka Falls and Umauma Falls Zipline which was the reason we chose this location. The grounds of this 45 acre property are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. We had a great time feeding the goats and checking out both the 20 foot and 40 foot waterfalls on the property. If you are looking for a remote location, this is the place to be! We were able to do laundry as a washer and dryer are in the rental. We used the hot plates to cook on. This side of the island is damp so everything feels a little chilly even when it is 70 degrees. ##### Tracy O. This is a guest suit across the courtyard from the main house where our hosts live, private yet convenient should there be any questions. We walked the property, picked some fruits and wild berries, fed the goats, treaded the lovely creek on the property, cooked pancakes and drank Kona coffee the next morning, and dreaded of leaving after just one night. We had great conversations with our hosts Beverly and Gerry. Their two dogs were so welcoming and friendly... The location is superb, being close to Hilo, but out of the noise and traffic.
