Maunalua Bay Beach Park (two miles), Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve (four miles), the Koko Head Trail (four miles), and the Koko Crater Botanical Garden (five miles) are just a few of the wonderful attractions within a few minutes' drive. You'll also be close to great restaurants, shops, and markets, and only 10 miles east of central Honolulu. The studio is part of a larger home, but it has its own entrance to ensure your peace and privacy. A stone lanai greets you out front, offering a lovely spot for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. Enter by way of a convenient kitchenette, offering a mini-fridge, a two-burner stovetop, a coffee maker, and an assortment of culinary utensils for preparing quick breakfasts and your favorite beach snacks. The main living space is uncluttered and colorful, complete with a sleeper sofa, a TV, and both a standing desk and complimentary WiFi for all of your remote work needs. THINGS TO KNOW The sleeper sofa is the only bed. There is no washer/dryer here. This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. For the following reasons: 1\. The place was not clean when I moved there. They came and cleaned it afterwards. No towels, no soaps, no linens, nothing! 2\. From the first week I told them that internet is super slow. It was even too slow for watching Netflix! Multiple times it would time out. The company didn’t do anything about it although I asked them 4 different times. 3\. The people upstairs had a dog that constantly barked. Day and night. And the owners would yell load “STOP”. I mentioned this also 4 times and they didn’t do anything about it. Overall I did not enjoy my stay, it wasn’t quiet, I had a very bad internet, and the managing company always replied with “we’re sorry, we have notified the local manager” in which I never heard from them.
