It was very close - only two blocks- to the beach. The free parking was a huge plus since we rented a car to get to other beaches on the island. If you are renting a car be aware that the traffic is horrible getting in and out of the Honolulu area. The communication from the management company made for a flawless check-in and check-out. We found the property very clean and matched everything in the description. They even provided items for us to use for a day at the beach. The best benefit was that the parking that is included was wonderful. We found ample parking in the garage. It was nice to have the balcony and bedroom door between living room. The kitchen had what we needed for dishes. We used the beach chairs and towels, and the location was perfect walk to the beach and downtown restaurants. The free parking is a huge bonus! We did not use the pool area on the 6th floor. The only issue we had with elevators was when checking out. You could tell a lot of others were too and some folks road the elevator up just so they could come down - not really a big deal.
