As you arrive at Waikiki Sunset, you will be met with the modern monochrome design of your homey living room. Here, you can entertain your family with the flat-screen TV featuring a dozen local and international channels, as you melt into the comfort of thee inviting coach. If needed there two sleepers to turn into beds. Thanks to panoramic windows and a balcony, you will have a beautiful landscape of mountains to wake up to every morning. Two full-size beds are there to recharge you with a great sleep after a day full of new memories. The sandy shore, salty waves, and exciting urban grid are staples to Waikiki. It is not a challenge to fall in love with life at the Waikiki Sunset condo, considering the many enriching moments it may bring to your life. The Waikiki Sunset building is located in Eastern Waikiki, only footsteps from some of Waikiki's more nature-centric activities. Location was good and free parking was included. We figured out how to use the lights and extra fans but instructions would definitely help some people to figure it out.There was a beach chair and some boogie boards to take to the beach.There is lots of odds and ends that needed to be fixed. There was no dish towels provided. No extra pillow cases for the pull out. Pillows and pull out mattress need to be replaced as they were stained in multiple places. Shower head had one setting that was on full blast. We arrived at the property only to find we were locked out. The property owner did not give us checkin procedures prior to arriving and it took us over an hour sitting in the hallway to get access to the property. I’m very unsatisfied with the poor communication we had prior to arrival. Since we arrived the communication improved. But overall it was disappointing. The property during the time we were there was under some maintenance and we were without power and air conditioning the entire time we were there. Even though we were made aware of this, but unfortunately we were unable to cancel and book another place because we were informed only a week prior to occupancy. (floors 2 to 5), we never had a problem finding a parking stall any time of the day, it was great, huge savings in our pocket on having parking included -Spacious, my kids had room to run around and play in the living room -Views were spectacular, diamond head view and ocean you can see the surfers and waves in the ocean -24th floor, so didn't hear much noise outside when windows are closed -Condo right next to the elevator, so easy to go in and out of building -Amenities included gym, pool and BBQ area -AC and ceiling fan in living room and bedroom were great -Host provided plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, blow dryer, most kitchen necessities - water temp was great Cons - Although it was clean when we arrived, the condo was a little outdated (the pictures need to be updated) - definitely needs some loving care from the host as things needed to be replaced like the bedroom curtain (ripped), balcony chairs and tables were rusted, one of the kitchen bar stool legs were broken (dangerous to sit on), toilet paper holder was already broken on arrival - carpets should be replaced to something easier to clean, for this day and age, it would save so much headache from the host - light bulbs didn't work in the bedroom so we had to do everything in the dark when we arrived (late check-in) ##### Julie and Kevin L. Balcony was nice, place was clean, and more than we ever needed. Only complaint is that it was annoying to check in, get the pass, go back downstairs and park the car to go upstairs. ##### Edward L. The view from the balcony is fantastic with sights of the ocean and Diamond head. Its also a great location only 2 blocks from the beach and walkable to many restaurants. The parking is also super convenient if you have a car. Some of the furnishings and interior are a bit dated, but it didn't impact our stay. We would definitely stay here again as it is a wonderful beach apartment with full kitchen and free parking. ##### Tyler C. LIght in the bedroom was not working. Carpet was very dirty with lots of stains. top door lock system was not working with some broken parts on the door lock system.
