LARGE CORNER UNIT Located only 1 block from world famous Waikiki Beach, this ocean facing, large corner unit with lanai and extra windows on the 36th floor, has panoramic views of the ocean, beach, pool, and Diamond Head, not to mention the sunrise and sunset views. Breathtaking! Our condo has been upgraded with bamboo flooring throughout and offers all the comforts desired. The living room is spacious and has furniture with a bright and airy tropical touch. Enjoy our full sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress for your comfort and our two lazy boy chairs. Also for your enjoyment is a 50'' Smart TV with over 100 channels. There’s a full sized kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, garburator and fully equipped cabinets for all your cooking needs, along with an adjoining dining area. The kitchen and bathroom have Corian countertops. The bedroom has a queen bed and an additional TV surrounded by ocean views. Also for your convenience, there are two doors leading into the bathroom, one from the bedroom and one from the living room. Included in the nightly rate is Wifi and parking. (a parking pass is supplied with the condo) Our unit is air conditioned for your comfort. We supply beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie boards. The Waikiki Banyan is a very well maintained and family friendly resort. The recreation deck features a large pool and 2 hot tubs, tennis court, basketball court, picnic/ BBQ area, and a children's playground. You will find a convenience store and specialty coffee cafe located right outside the elevators in tower one of the main lobby and a laundry room just outside our condo door. \*\*INCLUDED in our nightly rate is PARKING in our parkade (a parking pass is supplied) and WIFI \*\*BUILDING NOTE The entire 6th floor recreation deck including swimming pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area is undergoing a complete renovation and is closed. There is small kitchen to encourage a small operation of cooking. It is a 5-min walk to the beach for a couple and a toddler. It is also so close to Waikiki shopping mall, target and Waikiki Market. This place is surrounded with many good restaurants and street food. The condo has plenty of towels, beach chairs. Laundy and trash facilities were very close. About the AC, we figured out that at least once a day we need to pump the water from the tray under the AC into bucket to prevent the balcony flood. The communication with host and property manager was very efficient and effective. We really enjoy our stay and we are grateful that this place was available for a short term rental. Location was great! Close to Waikiki Beach, restaurants, grocery stores and activities. It was also central location for all of our activities we did. There were beach chairs, cooler and umbrellas on the balcony which we ended up using. That was nice to have those items. Plenty of cookware, if you decide to cook in for a night or two. Downside was you do hear noise even though you’re up on the 36th floor, but it can be drowned out by the fan or air conditioner. The only recommendation I would suggest would to get a new stove. The range tops have seen better days. We stayed at this property for about a week. The location is very close to the beach and any shop/restaurant! The building is a bit dated, but clean and quiet. This place has a view and not just one! It is really something to experience! Amenities-wise, all the essentials were available! We appreciated a welcoming gift basket! TV and subscription services were provided. The only minor suggestion I can add is to either leave napkins/paper towels or indicate that those items are not available.
