Our fantastic Condo is located at Papakea Ocean Front Resort one of the largest land areas with fewest number of units on any resort in Kaanapali. Our newly remodeled ground floor corner unit D101 is very comfortable and roomy with A/C in bedroom and living room. It offers wonderful views of the blue Pacific and the island of Molokai as well as the resort's tropical grounds: koi pond, putting greens, pools, and Jacuzzi/spas. Walk right out of the unit and take a few steps to the pool and ocean. The unit has free Wi-Fi, a new flat-screen TV in the living room as well as a flat-screen TV in the bedroom. The bed is a new King-sized bed in the bedroom and a new Queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. It comes with everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker. It has a washer and dryer suite with soap included. It has beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella and a cooler etc. Enjoy the tropical breezes and Maui sunsets while relaxing on your patio and looking right at the koi pond & fountain. Maui doesn't get any better than this! Resort Amenities: The beautiful Papakea Resort is located on the ocean (short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping) in the Kaanapali area of Maui. This property has wonderful tropical gardens and ponds. The amenities include 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzi's, 3 lighted tennis courts, 2 shuffleboards, 2 putting greens, 12 gas BBQ's, picnic areas and free High-Speed Wi-fi access. NO HIDDEN FEES- Papakea does not charge a resort fee anymore. During the Winter and Spring months also enjoy oceanfront viewing of the migrating humpback whales. Dolphins can be seen throughout the year! This property is located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua. If you would like to stick closer to home, you can walk or take a quick drive to Whalers Shopping Village in Ka’anapali. The check-in process was easy even when we arrived late at night. Pools, BBQs and grounds of resort are very well kept. We participated in the lei making offered there and took morning walks along the beach next to the property. As for the unit, the owner was very accommodating and quick to reply. They offered great advice about what to do in the area and great direction about the property and Maui for a first time guest. The unit was outdated compared to many other units our friends had stayed in while we were there. My only suggestion would be to offer more than 6 place settings/cutlery, we found we were doing dishes constantly. Had perfect amount of items for beach fun. Close to the pool and beach. Walking distance to grocery store eating out food trucks and even a Fish Market and of course your ABC store. We loved this resort! Not too big, not too small. Perfect. Our room had everything we needed.The grass outside was so soft for barefoot walking and lawnchairs to watch the whales everyday. Listing on VRBO is accurate for the property and things are spelled out clearly with the resort fee that is to be anticipated at check in. The grounds were nice and the environment is relaxing. This seems to be one of the more updated and nicer units on the property in our opinion. We enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to send friends here. ##### Isaac M.
