Our rooms are tastefuly done in modern Victorian style in grey and white. The rooms are of standard HK size but amenities are adequate. We booked two rooms for our family of 4 and everyone finds the stay comfortable though my husband complained that the bed was too soft for him. We had a good deal and the rooms came with pretty decent buffet breakast. Absolutely value for money. The location is not near any MTR stations but there is complimentary freeshuttle tocentral station and furthermore, the tram is just round the corner. Taxis and buses galore. Only disadvantage is that MTR is about 3 km from hotel but you can get there easily by bus or tram - as well as with hotel own free transport. Free WiFi available and good breakfast. Rooms are bit small - but it is normal in Hong Kong. Messe ist mit TAxi gut erreichbar, ansonsten im Viertel alles geboten. Frühstück überraschend gut. Pool ist ein Fake, also den gibts nicht...eher ein Planschbecken ohne Genehmigung der Stadt. The rooms on their website are the more expensive ones as when I asked if all the rooms were so small, they said that only their best rooms were on the site. I was originally put in a very high room, which because of the small size felt very claustrophobic. The staff were very accommodating when I asked to move to a lower floor, which made the small room slightly better. The twin room was fine for one person, but would have been quite squashed for two. I did have some issues with noise and smoking from other guests, more their fault than the hotel's though. Breakfast was included, but I gave it a miss most morning. The first time I tried it, there was hair in the yoghurt and ants crawling on the bread! I commented on this at reception and they seemed aware of the problem and I didn't see anything too unhygienic again. However most of the food was processed, and an uninspiring random collection. Kennedy Town is a bit of a trek from the MTR (definitely not a "short walk"), but the shuttle bus is good, although I was surprised there was nothing earlier than 9am as this does not suit business guests. The area is kennedy town, which is ofcourse not a posh location but then its is one of the oldest hong kong areas and there are teeny good restaurants and eat outs nearby which infact I found to be better than Soho. The hotel is a little further from certain attractions than you might be led to believe, and it is not within walking distance of most attractions.
