Nice space and view, but microwave doesn’t work & house has black mold.
The house has nice space and layout, and the view of the sound from the decks is pretty.
But…first thing Sunday morning we discovered the microwave in the house doesn’t work. I called and messaged Vacasa immediately and multiple times all during the week about the non-working microwave. (My vacation time was wasted attempting to get a working appliance.)
The half bath that’s adjacent to the kitchen has black mold on the walls and ceiling. There are some other areas that also have some mold on the ceilings.
The bottom bunk bed in the children’s bedroom is unstable and dangerous. We had a 2 year old sleeping on that bed. Any larger child would have serious issues sleeping on that bed.
We have been very disappointed with Vacasa and will never rent any property managed by this company again.
There was a lack of any sense of urgency to provide us with a working microwave, and I was lied to by a Vacasa representative on Wednesday, who told me the microwave issue would be resolved on Thursday. A Vacasa representative called me on Friday afternoon, and said I would receive a $50 refund for the microwave issue. I have requested more of a refund, due to the other issues.
