"Mo & Anita's" Oceanfront, Dog-Friendly Home - Hot Tub

"Mo & Anita's" is a five bedroom, 4.5 bathroom oceanfront home located within Surf City. Here, enjoy shopping, entertainment, and dining on the quiet shores of Topsail Island.

With large glass windows across the oceanfront wall, taking full advantage of the beach atmosphere and ocean views are the rule at "Mo & Anita's." From the granite counter tops and stainless appliances in the kitchen to the master bedroom in the loft area, you'll have all the comforts you need in this large coastal home. 

Downstairs, on the ground entry level, two bedrooms with a common area living room can be found. Bedroom one, found on the oceanfront side, has one queen and one twin bunk bed. Bedroom two has a twin/double bunk bed. These two sleeping quarters and lower living room share a full bathroom. Down the hallway, you will find the laundry room with a washer and dryer available for guest use. 

Travel up the staircase to the first level where you will find the main living area, kitchen, dining area, half bath and two additional bedrooms. The dining area and living room are located strategically on the oceanfront side as to take full advantage of the sunny ocean views while relaxing on the couch or eating a hearty meal. Bedrooms three and four are located to the streetside of the home, each with their own private bath. One bedroom offers a reading nook area that is open to the stairwell to the ground floor.

"Mo and Anita's" provides a large master suite located in the upper loft area overlooking the lower living space and taking full advantage of the ocean views from the wall of windows. A relaxing space offering a king bed, this master also contains a full private bathroom and walk-in closet, giving you plenty of room for your wardrobe essentials.

Head outside to the expansive oceanfront deck and you will find plenty of room to bask in the sun while enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean. Enjoy the hot tub (fee may apply) in the evenings or take a break from the sun under the oceanfront gazebo deck. The options for enjoying fun-in-the-sun are endless at "Mo & Anita's"!

Age Requirements: You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. ID verification required prior to check in. House parties will be evicted immediately. Any group renting this property under false pretenses shall be immediately evicted with no refund.

TV Disclosure: Smart TVs require guests to log in with their own accounts to access subscription apps. Access credentials are not provided.

CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. Please review our Rental Policies and Cancellation Policy.

CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

TOPSAIL ISLAND GENERAL INFO-
WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.

Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.

Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.

Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.

disappointed @ Mo & Anitas

We picked this home because so we could give each family their own floor. The ground level (which was intended for my son, his wife and 3 teenagers) was a total disappointment. The AC was not working, it was musty smelling, so much so I went and purchased damp rid to put downstairs. The house had plenty of box fans which leads me to believe they already knew the AC had an issue.Also, we could not get the dishwasher to work at all (which is kinda important when you have 11 people) We absolutely love the area as its very family oriented.

Not worth the price...

The location is great! Couldn’t be better. That what I will give 2stars for. Other then that it was worth the price. No linens are provided.. who travels with linens? For that price they should be included. The house smelled terrible like mold or mildew. We got used to it eventually. As far as cleanliness goes they need to find new cleaners. The sliding door to the patio was filthy when we got there. Also under the deck is full of garbage& beer cans, there were beer cans stuffed in random places outside ... all that being said this is no where near worth paying their rate a night! So if you’re going to stay here plan to bring or buy lots! Toilet paper, towels, rags, paper towel, etc! There wasn’t even a pizza cutter... the point of renting a house is the conveniences of it. The only convenience here was the location.

Didn’t stay at this property due to moldy smell in 2 lower stories of the house and the fact that it didn’t meet our minimum requirements for the kind of beach house we needed for a celebration weekend.

Perfect

We had a girls weekend at this house and it was PERFECT! Plenty of room for 10 women and more than enough bathrooms. Oceanfront with an amazing view and plenty of room on the deck for us to hang out. We could not has asked for a better home for our weekend. It was clean and spacious. The team at Access Realty was great! Every time I had a question and trying to meet the needs of 10 ppl they were on top of everything. We try to do a different beach every year but everyone wants to come back to this beach and this house. One of our best vacations.

Perfect Weekend!

I booked this house for a girls weekend, after reading the reviews I was a bit nervous but everyone in the office assured me all the previous items has been handled. They were right! Everyone in the office got right back to me within minutes of my emails. The house was perfect! We didn't have one issue with anything that I had previously read in the reviews. We had a wonderful weekend and the house was so perfect for 10 ladies. Plenty of bathrooms and space for everyone. The view and the area were perfect. We didn't spend much time inside all weekend, we were on the beach or the huge deck from morning until night. We loved this place, our best house for all the trips we take. We try to do different beaches each year but they want to do the same house again, it was so perfect for us.
