Located on the South end of Topsail Island, this single-family home offers four bedrooms and accommodates up to 9 guests. The top floor of this home provides an open concept living and kitchen space. Off of the living room, you will find a Master Bedroom providing a King bed, TV, deck access, and a full bathroom.  Make your way downstairs to the lower level of house that has three bedrooms. All three bedrooms offer deck access. One of the bedrooms offer a twin over Queen bunk bed and the other bedroom is a queen bed. A shared full bathroom is located in the hallway. The last bedroom is a second Master Bedroom suite offering a King bed and an en suite with a stand-up shower and jetted bathtub. The laundry room is also located on this level in the hallway. Pups are more than welcomed to tag along when staying at House Divided. Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience. Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge. Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean. Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Why pay a cleaning fee if you have to do all the dishes, put them away and leave the place completely clean before leaving? The house has an absolutely amazing view of the sound and ocean, and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach access. Our friends loved the outside carport for games and socializing, and we felt very safe that the door locked automatically every time someone closed it. The only issue that may want to be addressed: One of the people in our group was walking barefoot on the porch outside and stepped on a nail that was jutting out of the plank, so the owner may want to consider a bit of maintenance for safety. We definitely appreciated the provided first aid kit!
