This was our first time in Holland and we did not know how crowded it can be become. Being right downtown was perfect to walk for coffee, dinner and shopping. The Tulip Festival is also walking distance. Having a parking space was especially helpful to see the surrounding areas. The condo itself was clean, well appointed and modern. We loved the charm of the exposed brick. The condo offered a quiet retreat from busy downtown. Beautiful new short term rental apartment right in the middle of downtown. This George suite is the middle of the building. It has a small balcony with a view of the building next door. There was a requirement to take out our own trash to a certain dumpster at the northwest(?) part of the parking lot behind a certain shoe store. I would expect to take out our trash if we were staying long enough to have more than half a bag of trash, but after paying over a thousand dollars for a premium apartment, including a sizable "cleaning fee" I did not like having to collect the trash from the bathroom, add it to the half full kitchen bag and find the right dumpster when we were checking out. ##### linda j. It was a particularly nice touch to be offered a possible early check in time, as well as a slightly later check out time than what we typically see.
