The chalet is located on an idyllic park at an altitude of about 1,200 metres, close to the charming village of Hohentauern in the holiday region of Murtal (Styria). Enjoy beautiful unspoilt nature here all year round!

Just 100 metres away is the ski lift to the family-friendly ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometres of pistes. In the region you will also find larger ski areas such as Kreischberg/Murau with 42 km of slopes, Lachtal with 26 km of slopes, Turracher Höhe with 43 km of slopes and the smaller Kaiserau - ideal for beginners. The cross-country trail is also 100 metres away.

In summer, there are numerous hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes in the region and directly from the park. Enjoy the swimming lakes in Gaishorn am See and Wald am Schoberpass, ideal for cooling off on sunny days (more than 200 per year!).

For motorsport enthusiasts, the Red Bull Ring is just 35 km away. In Hohentauern and the surrounding area itself, various shops, restaurants and fun excursions are available
