It wasn't until I turned into the street and saw the pink/red strip light out the front that the penny dropped why this hotel was listed as "adults only". Was greeted at reception by a very nice receptionist with enough English to make me feel welcome and helped me to my room with my bag.
Entered the room to find the TV had call girls on the screen and also on the tablet!!
However, I had a very pleasant three night stay here, felt safe enough being a solo female traveller. Bedding was clean, had ample towels, bathroom accessories (shower gel smelt wonderful), coffee sachets and a free bottle of water + a couple of condoms should I need them!!
Despite being a 'love hotel', it was in a good location from Hiroshima center (about 15 min walk) and about a 20 min walk to the station, or an easy ride by tram for about £1.50.
The reception also provided free soft drinks (ginger ale, pepsi etc) and fresh coffee.
