This beautiful beachside villa offers sunrise views of Port Royal Sound & the Atlantic Ocean. This 3rd-floor gem has some of the best views in the complex. Fully equipped kitchen w/granite counters, 1 bedroom w/all new bedding, full bathroom with vanity, only steps to 1 of the 3 pools on the property. Enjoy sunrise views from the private deck. Perfect escape in a natural setting away from the hustle & bustle of the more touristy places on the island, yet only minutes from shopping, dining & activities.This 3rd-floor villa is easily accessible by stairs from the parking lot. Enter into the hallway with the bedroom tucked away from the living space with a Queen Size bed and television. The bathroom boasts a walk-in subway tile shower. Twin bunk beds are discretely built into the hallway. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from the updated kitchen and the living area! Sunny doors provide natural light and access to the private balcony with amazing ocean views. The couch serves as twin sofa sleeper providing additional sleeping space. The villa is complete with a washer and dryer! Our villa is best suited for business travelers, romantic getaways or a couple with small children. . \*\*\*We are located on the third-floor requiring traversing two and a half flights of stairs... which are a breeze... but wanted to make sure any wheelchair or mobility concerns are noted. There are no elevators at The Spa.\*\*\* \*\*The outdoor pools are open April 1- October 31\. The indoor pool is open year round.\*\* The Spa at Port Royal Sound is located as the Atlantic Ocean turns up into the Port Royal Sound on the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island. The rental was a bit tight for our young family of four (one baby) but would probably have been perfect if both of our children were old enough to stay in the bunks. The Spa property is a bit dated and rundown but this specific rental was very well updated and clean. Would recommend for a couple or small family with older children that doesn't plan to spend a ton of time inside (and why would you in Hilton Head?) The location is beautiful very nice pools and beach access. Lots of wildlife around deer and bald eagle were seem multiple times. Very peaceful area kind of away from the crowd. The common area needs updating the hallway carpets and flooring are in rough shape. Inside was pretty clean however the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the heat pump is so loud it made it tough to sleep. Also the fridge needs to be replaced as we had to mop water out of the floor the entire stay. The unit was as advertised and was over all a nice place other than the noted.issues. ##### Shannon H. Owner was quick to respond to questions, very friendly and helpful. Very close to beach with great view. Had beach chairs, wagon, tent, umbrella and towels. The beach itself isn’t your typical beach since it’s on the sound. Small waves. When tide is low there were tons of wildlife to be seen. We saw dolphins and even saw a bald eagle! The only thing I suggest is a curtain or shades on the sliding doors. This made the living room fairly warm on the hot days. The resort area has a cat sanctuary on property with lots of cats roaming around. We saw some sitting on cars so keep that in mind if that bothers you. ##### alison t. Being situated around the northern shore of the island gave us the calmer version of the ocean experience, with the water and the waves being so close during high tides, yet leaving us with a sense of safety and serenity that, combined with the enjoyable beach and the beautiful peak at the morning sunrise, made each day very relaxing and wonderful. This is lightly different from the eastern shore of the island, which brings the stronger waves into the beach more constantly and gives a longer stretch of sand in between an oceanfront place and the ocean's water, and which we have greatly enjoyed in the past. The condominium unit itself was very nicely set up and was perfect for us. We never needed to contact the property manager during our week-long stay, and the various amenities and nearby places were very enjoyable as well. If we could add a few items for a future visit, it would be a DVD player, preset access to 'on-demand' TV programs for the TV in the sitting room in the same way that it was preset for the main bedroom TV, and a soap dish for the bathroom.
