Close to everything, easy walk to park, beach, shops and restaurants,; but away from the noise and busyness. Condo complex could use some updating and better upkeep of the pool. Pool itself was nice, but the deck and chairs could have been cleaned and the garbage emptied regularly. The condo we stayed in could use a fresh coat of paint and updated electric outlets. Despite that, there was plenty of room for the 6 of us, the weather couldn’t have been any better and we had a wonderful spring break on Hilton Head Island. ##### Laura H. We arrived on Saturday, July 2nd and saw the first bug outside near the pool on July 3rd. On Monday, July 4th in the morning, I called Vacasa to report seeing roaches inside of the unit. The Vacasa representative I spoke with said that the bugs were probably palmetto bugs and that someone from Property Management would follow up with me to address the issue. Palmetto bugs are essentially roaches and I was not contacted that day. The next day we saw even more of the same bugs in the unit. I have a picture of one of the bugs that was inside the clock on the stove. During our stay, we saw several of the bugs in the stove clock and on the stairway wall and another wall inside of the unit. I called the customer service number again on Tuesday; however, that time I had to leave a message because no one answered. No Vacasa representative ever called me back or spoke with me in person to let me know what was being done to address the problem. This sickening situation prevented my family from enjoying our stay in Hilton Head. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a VRBO listed property. I recommend that VRBO stop listing this property. Vacasa provided extremely poor customer service and I deserve a refund for the most disappointing VRBO rental experience I've ever had. ##### Paula D.
