Great spot

Property was as advertised. Clean, cute, comfy, and great location overlooking the pool. The beach access is across the street and easy to get to. There were beach supplies(several chairs/ umbrella/ toys) in the closet for use. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Only suggestion would be to have a broom available for use. We had no way to sweep/clean the floors for the week. The vacuum available is missing wheels so doesn't work properly.

Great experience

The place was very clean except for under the couches. The couches, in general, could use some love, but the rest of the place was very clean. One of the sliding door locks is broken, so there is a piece of wood as a makeshift lock. That could definitely be replaced. The location is great—close to the beach and plenty of shops. The pool is clean, cute, and relaxing to hang out at.

Affordable no bells or whistles

We had a great week. We ran into the same issues as read in reviews - the biggest being the use of one key fob (for a three bedrooms- there should be at least 2). Also the extra long door code is super inconvenient. We left our room unlocked the entire week. Which speaks volumes for how comfortable we felt with the building safety. The kitchen needs some updates if you plan to stay in and cook. The worst part about our week tho- and a deal breaker for us - is that the beds are VERY thin mattresses and very firm. Definitely need some kind of topper if you are booking here. The place is cute and close to coligny beach. Beach access is across the street- not too bad of a walk- however the city could stand to put in a crosswalk for Xandu and other surrounding complexes. Mgmnt was easily accessible- and it has 3 balconies as well! One of which is just above the entry door directly below the bedroom. It wasn’t too noisy while we were there but potentially could be. The turtles in the pond we fun to feed berries to off the other balcony and you can see the pool clearly from the balcony on the other side of the building. It never seemed too busy. :)

Great Vacation Getaway

Location is fantastic with just a short walk to the beach and Coligny. Only one key fob to get into the building is a pain and an inconvenience when traveling with two different cars. Also, the hallway bathroom toilet handle is broke. So after every use we had to pull off the tank top to manual flush the toilet. That needs to be fixed. Otherwise, great place and recommend.

Spacious, clean, convenient condo

We had a great time at this condo. It's close to the beach (~5 minute walk with kids) and walking distance to Coligny (~15 minutes) with an on site pool and laundry if needed. One of the main perks was the condo's 3 balconies if you wanted a quiet place to escape the kids. Pros: - great location--close to everything - spacious - on site pool and laundry - clean Cons (very minor): - single key fob comes with the rental (needed to enter the building and park) - although everything worked, it felt like the faucets needed a little tune up We'd love to stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

Condo review

Condo was nice; very clean and spacious. I have 3 comments to be used as you see fit: 1. You only get two key-fobs (tried to give us one due to shortages). That key-fob allows entry into the parking lot (OK because only two cars allowed). However; you also need key-fob to get into the building. Not workable because we had 6 people (condo sleeps 8) going in 4-5 different directions and had to schedule someone to let those without a key-fob into the building. 2. Advertisement indicated “only 100 steps to dip your toes into the sand.” This is misleading. These words are what caused us to rent this condo over others because my wife has trouble with her ankle and 100 steps is OK. It is 156 steps (about 150 yards) from the gate to South Forest Beach Drive (4-lane road). Another 176 steps walking down a narrow paved path. Then another160 steps down a narrow sandy path to a beautiful beach. That is a total of approximately 500 steps (8 to 10 minute leisurely walk). This is not unusual for a Hilton Head condo but is not as advertised or expected. 3. Need to replace toaster (left element does not work) and very worn out/scratched skillets and pans.

The room was ok. The pool area wasn't clean and the water was dirty. Close proximity to the beach.

Overall we enjoyed our time. One bedroom is right above the entrance to the building. It's noisy at night, and you hear the buzzing of the door. Rooms are a nice size, the apartment is comfortable. They requested that the AC not be lower than 71, I was comfortable, my roommates weren't.

Wasnt that great....needs some work

Several things wrong with this property. The property management company Vacasa was not helpful at all. When we stopped to pick up our packet at Vacasa, only one key fob was given. The property allows for two cars so you’d think they’d give you two fobs. One for each car but no such thing. When I called Vacasa to inquire about getting another one because there was 7 of us staying here, they said it wasn’t available even tho we have two cars. How is the other car suppose to get in the gated community if we separate? Made no sense. There is also a keypad that you can enter at the front door if you don’t have the fob. Vacasa didn’t have the entry code and wasn’t very helpful in finding out what it was so we could at least get in the building without a fob. They never called back to help us and the girl was rather rude when I asked her to call the owners and see if they could provide the entry code. She didn’t want to be bothered is how she responded. Never heard back and when I called the office I always got the answering machine. I gave up after the third day. Also my family enjoys smoothies and the blender was a smoothie blender that was broken and leaking. Good thing we ate out most of the time because the oven didn’t work either. Kitchen wasn’t stocked that well with dishes, pots etc. The master bath shower had a ton of mold in the grout and wasn’t very clean. One of the spare bedrooms had some cut hair taped to the wall on the inside of the closet. Very creepy. Before we arrived I called Vacasa to inquire if there was any beach equipment like chairs, umbrella etc that was available to use in the condo. I was on hold for 20 mins before I finally talked to someone and when I finally got thru they said no beach equipment was available. So we brought all our own equipment and when we arrived there was four chairs, a broken umbrella, some boogie boards, buckets etc. I could’ve left my chairs at home. Why is that not listed on the info? That’s pretty important detail when headed to the beach. Twin beds were not comfortable according to my 21 year old daughter who slept in this room. The bath connected to the queen room had the shower faucet unattached from the wall and had to make sure whoever used this shower was very careful not to pull it from the wall. The towel holder was also broken in this bathroom. This place was not great and needs some work and a good scrub. Also the beach was a trek so bring a wagon because one wasn’t provided.
