Recently Renovated. Year-Round Heated Pool! Ocean Dunes provides perhaps the best oceanfront value in the Forest Beach area since the rental rates are lower than virtually every other oceanfront property and it is ideally located in close proximity to Coligny Plaza and right between the new Hilton Ocean Oak ($50,000 plus $700 per night) and the Marriott Grande Ocean ($550/night summer rates). Guests will enjoy the same fantastic oceanfront location as these high-end properties as well as a new heated oceanfront pool and can utilize certain amenities at the aforementioned resorts... such as beachfront bar/grills. Plus... Ocean Dunes is a REALLY nice complex! Best yet, choose our condo and enjoy THE BEST deluxe one bedroom villa anywhere in Ocean Dunes. Our unit has very recently been taken down to the studs and completely updated. Guests will appreciate the genuine hardwood floors throughout, the granite kitchen countertops and luxurious bathroom. And most guests comment on the cleanliness of our unit in their reviews. We do employ Hilton Head's finest cleaning company to ensure that you will arrive to a sparkling clean unit with fresh linens and towels. We offer a queen bed in the master suite (WITH A NEW SEALY POSTUREPEDIC HYBRID MATTRESS), and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Flat screen HDTV’s in both living and bedroom with digital cable and free Wi-Fi. The living room opens onto a balcony/deck overlooking both the Ocean Dunes and Ocean Oak pools with direct ocean views. A newly installed balcony ceiling fan will provide additional comfort on hot summer days. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with everything you will need for meal prep. To open up the villa space we have included a drop-leaf dining table that neatly folds up leaving a minimal footprint, and the dining chairs fold up and are stored neatly in the closet. We have also replaced the small bedroom door with a wide sliding pocket door... a very unique feature that really opens up the space and is not offered on the vast majority of Ocean Dunes villas. Ours is also the only Ocean Dunes villa with an in-room washer/dryer. Bed linens, bath towels, extra pillows & blankets, plus a small supply of toiletries are supplied as well. There is a ramp as well as elevators. Ocean Dunes also provides luggage carts for unloading and loading your personal belongings. Our unit provides first floor convenience with spectacular views of the best beach on Hilton Head Island and just a short walk to many restaurants, shops and watering holes of Coligny Plaza. Our one bedroom offers 538 square feet of pure coastal bliss!! Perfect for a romantic getaway, friend bonding trip or a small family vacation, Ocean Dunes provides a tranquil oceanfront experience. Would have liked to enjoy the beach but a little cool this trip. Beach is flat for walking and firm enough to ride bikes. The location is superb....just steps to the beach and from the lanai you can see the pool but are not right on top of it. It is very well priced for its location and the complex is well maintained. It is an older complex and all units have wall air conditioner systems so you do hear them. Access to the outdoor hotel bar next door is a nice feature and under a mile walk or bike ride to great shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately the owner forgot to tell their real estate agent it was occupied. My wife and I were unexpectedly interrupted to someone opening the door. Nov 11, 2016 #### Awesome Villa Really great place to stay! Loved the direct ocean views! Appreciated all the extras in the condo. We had such a blast biking around Hilton Head and coming back to a beautiful condo that met all of our needs. Our romantic getaway was beyond perfect. Both ACs were struggling…pulled filter from both and found them loaded with dust. one in living room/kitchen has mold on it Grounds, pool area are well kept. It is very close to the beach and is on the first floor which was nice. The only thing keeping this review from being 5 star was that there were only two drinking glasses in the unit which meant that we were washing them everyday and was kind of annoying. This was our second time staying in this villa. We stayed the summer of 2020 during covid too. Love the location to the beach and all the amenities of Hilton head. We rented bikes and it was an easy process and bike access is great. We even left our fire stick and remote and Brian offered to mail it back to us. Thank you!!😊 ##### Kristy H. The unit is small but fine for a couple. Very tight bathroom. It’s location in the complex is close to pool (which was very warm thankfully, since our weather that week was on the cool side) and close to the path down to the beach. Balcony is oceanfront and sunny; perfect for reading and morning coffee. . Nice beach. Ocean Dunes is half-mile from Coligny Plaza. Live music and good food at outdoor seating at Bamboo Bar and Grill and lots of shopping and eateries. Not far from Harbour Town and Sea Pines for touristy stuff. ##### Jacqueline D.
