Both the spa and pool share the same heater. In order for the spa to be heated, the pool must be heated as well. When isolating the spa to heat to a higher temperature the pool will be not be heating. It is important to turn off the spa when finished. At least seven days' notice MUST be given for heat to be turned on. If the outside temperature is colder than 55 degrees, the pool may not be able to maintain a warmer temperature. If the pool or spa does not reach your desired temperature but is still warming, refunds will NOT be given. Featuring fresh paint on both the exterior and interior, this newly-remodeled vacation home sits on a serene, wooded half-acre, just seven rows from the beach. Highlights of the home include a private, 500 sq. ft. pool, a large hot tub, and a newly-constructed (April 2020), Travertine pool deck. Fire up the grill and enjoy lazy afternoons out on the new, 600 sq. ft. composite deck or in the professionally landscaped back yard. Inside, you'll find exquisitely decorated rooms and a well-equipped, recently-renovated kitchen with new cabinets, a six-burner cooktop, and a double wall oven. The ground floor also features a living room/dining area with built-in cabinets, a flatscreen TV, and a table with seating for eight. A separate breakfast room off the kitchen offers an additional table with more seating, plus there's an adjacent sunroom with a comfortable sectional and another large flatscreen TV. Guests are close to everything that Palmetto Dunes has to offer. Discover shopping and dining options within three miles of this complex at the Shelter Cove Towne Centre. You'll also have direct access to three world-class golf courses, an award-winning tennis center, pickleball courts, and an 11-mile lagoon system for kayaking and canoeing. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. The kids loved biking in the neighborhood to the general store for ice cream, and the walk to the beach is super super easy and short. The house has bikes, a beach wagon and beach toys which were not listed on the listing. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds super comfy. And the back patio and pool were amazing. There were issues with this property from the moment we arrived. In summary, one of the bathrooms was deemed unusable and instead of Vacasa notifying us, we walked into a moldy garage ceiling, a musty odor and a sign on the bathroom door that said the plumber would be there on Monday. As it was peak season in Hilton Head, so attempts to rebook and move into another house were futile. The leak was coming from a toilet, which was repaired on Monday, but we were on the phone with Vacasa about our property 5 of the 7 days we were there, In addition to the leaking toilet, mid-week the AC went out and the pool pump sprung a leak and had to be turned off. The property appeared to have not had a deep clean in a while and was full of cobwebs and dust. The local Vacasa property manager was receptive to our complaints and did what he could to correct each situation, but having to deal with all of the maintenance issues, most of which should been avoidable, made our vacation feel less than relaxing. ##### Heather P.
