• Always provided in every BESTNEST in quantity for your stay: beach chairs/umbrellas/sand toys/beach cart, beach towels, a supremely equipped kitchen (in quality and quantity), hand soap, dish soap, kitchen sponges, trash bags, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper, your favorite hair dryer ever, fragrance free laundry soap and dryer sheets, ziploc bags, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, loads of quality coat and skirt hangers, and a few surprises.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Walk in 5 minutes, bike in 3 minutes, or drive to the exclusive Beach Trolley shuttle to the Sea Pies Beach Club. Read on:

BEACH CLUB ACCESS/PARKING Onsite parking AT the Beach Club is permitted for all overnight guests, Labor Day-mid March. From Mid March through end of summer, special Beach Trolleys transport guests from various parking spots within Sea Pines to the Beach Club. Closest Beach Trolley location is at intersection of Greenwood and Willow Oak-- about 3 minutes by car from Greenwood Forest. DAY AFTER LABOR DAY THROUGH MARCH, EVERYONE MAY PARK AT THE BEACH CLUB.

PETS: We welcome your well-behaved dog (small to medium sized) for $350 per dog, maximum 2. Regrettably, Labradors and other oily coated breeds are not allowed. Dogs are never allowed on furniture or beds (or their humans have to pay a fine) and must be crated when left alone.

No pets in your party? No problem as there is NO pet evidence in this house.

POOL: Heatable with electricity (cost effective, but ineffective in coldest months of the year). Charge for electric pool heat is  $150.00 for the first day and $50.00 each additional day during March - May and September - November. This charge is non-taxable and non-refundable.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-refundable. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Great time at a great property

We had the best time at Hilton Head staying at this amazing property! The house was clean and spacious and had all the essentials. It was in a great location in walking distance from the beach and a short drive to restaurants and golf. There was staff available to answer any question and check in and out was a breeze. I highly recommend this property for families or a group visiting the island!

Home Away from Home

I can't say enough about Beverly Serral and her team at BestNest! My husband and I reside locally, and they came to the rescue after a plumbing leak in our home. This is not the first stay in a BestNest home, and it is always our first choice for staycations on Hilton Head Island. We can always count on their homes to be in great locations, wonderfully decorated, well-appointed, and, most importantly, clean! Great selection of dog-friendly homes. A must for our family!

This home is well stocked and in great condition. We didn’t lack for anything during our stay. VERY clean. Plenty of beach accessories to use and the walk to the beach is quick and easy. Beautiful and quiet area of Hilton Head. We would definitely stay here again!

We only wished we could have stayed longer. Quick stroll to the beach, quiet community. Beautifully decorated, comfortable home. The bedding is luxurious and the towels super soft for your sunburned skin. We will be back. Having the pool heated was a bonus for the cool evenings!

Great Stay on Deer Lane

We enjoyed our stay on Deer Lane. The property was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. It would be perfect for two families as there is a master and secondary on each side of the house. My daughters loved the loft room with two large beds; it was like a hideaway for them. We loved the primary master which had an updated bathroom. There are a few things that I feel are important to point out; none of these would prevent us from staying here again, just facts that may be helpful to others. This house does not have a grass yard; it is a pine needle and leaves yard. This may be helpful to some if their pets are picky and will not go in that type of yard. In addition, needles and acorns find their way in to the pool no matter what you do; just a side affect of having a beautiful tree lined yard :-) The secondary bathrooms have not been updated. They are still in a good condition, just note a bit dated. While on the resort we saw many deer, birds and alligators. The kids enjoyed getting to see the nature. Thanks for the nice stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful property, well equipped and looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the backyard the most: bird watching (I never realized I was into this until last week) and listening to the wild life concert ever evening. This was exactly what the doctor prescribed after a couple of stressful months.

Property was perfect - well appointed - clean and updated. Plenty of indoor space and great outdoor space with deck and pool. The ability to walk out the door and be on walking/bike trails, the beach a few blocks away and golfing- restaurant so close made it the perfect vacation.

Can't say enough great things

What a beautiful home! Exceeded our expectations in every way. Immaculate, spacious (with plenty of private areas), tons of natural light, beautiful unfussy decor, perfectly appointed (can't think of anything we needed that was not provided). Lovely setting on the lagoon--great for nature watching from the comfortable, covered patio. Short, scenic walk to incredible beach. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend!

Spectacular Sea Pines Home!

Wow! 45 Deer Run was our best HHI vacation rental yet! The house and furnishings are contemporary and gorgeous, the lagoon provides natural privacy and shade, and the the peaceful and relaxing deck and pool area gives an up-close view of birds and other wildlife. It’s a short walk or shorter bike ride from a beach area. Also, the house provides guests with special extras that make you feel at home when you walk in the door for the first time. A welcome basket of treats, many essentials like soaps, laundry supplies, etc make the first day easy before you head to the grocery. Each of the 4 bedrooms are spacious and most importantly provide a ton of privacy. The owners and property management go above and beyond with 45 Deer Lane. We will definitely be back!

Simply the perfect spot for our small college get together! House was impeccably clean!

We loved our stay at 45 Deer Run Lane. Hilton Head is amazing and this rental was perfect! Close enough to walk to either South Beach or the Beach Club. The patio was a welcome spot to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee before starting our day. We saw gorgeous birds and simply enjoyed every minute!!
