Communication with the rental company was consistent and clear. Really glad this unit had a small washer/dryer as we had to wash some towels before packing up. It is very comfortable, quiet and in a great neighborhood. Loved the beach access, trails and amenities that is offered at Sea Pines! Only 2 things really stood out preventing a 5 star “cleanliness” rating - with the hefty cleaning fee, I was surprised that a more detailed clean was not completed. Windows (inside and out) were dirty. Specifically, the inside windows had dog nose smudges and window sills were dusty. I noticed dog hair on the couch, which could have been cleaned off if vacuumed after the last guest. I ended up washing the interior windows and glass doors myself. The unit was well appointed and furnished nicely. Very comfortable! Loved spending time in the swing in the living room - super cozy! Others had mentioned the issue with the king bed and the slats - I noticed that something was off, as the bed was slanted down. The mattress was comfortable. The outdoor space was awesome, too - it was private, quiet and the deck was furnished nicely. Loved keeping the patio doors open and feeling the cooler air. I loved my stay in Night Heron - if my travels take me back to HHI, I would definitely look to rent this unit again. It was a peaceful, lovely stay! ##### Lynn T. It’s ideal size for a couple and a pet. Would be very cramped for more than two people. Overall it was a nice place, but owners would be well served to put in a box spring or plywood support under the mattress. The bed is not very comfortable, the frame is weak, not compatible with mattress and allows it to sag.
