Stay in and recharge or venture out to explore nearby small towns. The cabin is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 15 minutes from I-77. The cabin has one bedroom with king sized bed along with a full bath, kitchen, living area and dining space. The highlight of the cabin is the outdoors. With a covered wraparound deck with rocking chairs and a glider, barrel sauna and fire pit - all with the peaceful creek as your backdrop - you'll feel your stress melt away! HIGHLIGHTS/DETAILS: \- Private barrel sauna – unwind in your own personal retreat \- One-bedroom with a king bed (hotel-quality linens) and en-suite full bath \- Fully equipped kitchen with essential cookware, Keurig & drip coffee makers, and dining space \- Living area with a 65” Roku TV (plus a 43” Roku TV in the bedroom) \- Wraparound covered deck with rocking chairs, dining table, and creek views - rain or shine - soak up the creekside setting! \- Fire pit w/ Adirondack chairs and a charcoal grill - enjoy cozy evenings under the stars! \- Fast Starlink WiFi (cell service can be spotty in the area, WiFi calling recommended) \- Dog-Friendly: Bring up to two dogs. Follow all safety guidelines. \- Pack light - we stock basic supplies that should last a long weekend (bring more for an extended stay) - toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, towels, cooking essentials. \- Bring along some firewood or charcoal if you wish to use those amenities. \- The creek has a steep grade to get down to so it’s recommended to view from the decks/yard. Enter at your own risk. \- The driveway is gravel and runs parallel to the road. Some may think nothing of it but if you're not used to rural roads you may want to arrive in daylight to acclimate. \- There is a second cabin on the property. It is a separate space with a carport and large pine tree in between. GUEST ACCESS: The entire home is available for your use other than a locked owners closet located in the bathroom as well as a storage shed and closet outside. We loved staying in this cabin. Not only is it by a river (a huge plus for us) but it is roomy. Inside, the kitchen is great: stove, microwave full-size refrigerator, plenty of dishes & flatware, pots & pans, dishwasher, and spices. When you close the bathroom door, the bedroom is really dark in the morning....great for sleeping in! The wraparound porch is fantastic with a round dining table, rocking chairs and gliders. We had such good weather, we enjoyed taking our meals outside to enjoy the outdoors. We made sure to take advantage of the fire pit, sauna AND hot-tub. So peaceful and quiet especially with the flow of the creek in the background. Didn't have the opportunity to hear rain on the tin roof but it was so relaxing. Also the sauna was awesome!! Such a cute place and so cozy and inviting. We loved hearing the creek and the cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Great communication and instructions. The cabin was very homey and well cared for. Not only is there a Keurig, but there is a nice variety of K-Cups and flavored creamer which really added that extra touch for me. There are plenty of games and activities for anyone who doesn’t want to just sit outside and enjoy nature like me. It is in a beautiful location tucked away in the woods and right on the creek. I was able to sit on the deck and listen to the creek and enjoy the peace of the moment. While it feels secluded, it sits right off the road and has a neighboring cabin, but I only even knew they were they when they arrived. ##### Holly S. Very nice clean and inviting cabin. Easy check in with great communication from Alison. She was very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was ok when we lost power due to Helene coming through. We were very blessed with no issues where we were although a few miles away there was so much devastation. We had to cut our trip short due to weather conditions and power outages. Alison checked on us again and she went above and beyond to take care of us even to the point of refunding the entire cost of our rental. We are definitely going to return and enjoy this quiet, warm and inviting cabin. Thank you for being such a wonderful Host !! Praying for all affected by the Storm!!
