It's quiet, with deer visiting the yard frequently. It's close to restaurants, downtown, a grocery store (for a repreave from eating out), trail heads, and a 20-40 minutes (or less) commute to many of the must-see attractions in SD. This house is in the perfect place close to everything 1800 train ride, Crazy Horse, Mountain Rushmore. House was clean and the beds was very comfortable. This house is a perfect fit for a family or two couples. It's freshly remodeled with pretty decor. It's in a quiet area but just off the main road through Hill City. It has a nice deck where you can enjoy the creek that runs through the back yard, which is right along the Mickelson Trail. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and supper except a griddle. I'm sure the owners would get one if requested. They were very accommodating.
