The king beds were very comfortable, each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom, and the bedroom windows faced out into a leafy canopy of treetops. The comfortable seating on the front porch was a special bonus. However, this particular property is condo (connected to another condo) the listing has you believe it’s a free-standing home. Also, the inside fireplace does not work. I don’t think it’s worked since last year (I just read another review confirming same ) that would have been nice to know. However, the pictures did not fully represent the unit. The unit requires significant upkeep and a deep cleaning. Upon arrival at 6 PM, after a six-hour drive, we had to unload in 30-degree weather—only to find that I had to scrub the bathrooms before we could use them. The tub and floors were filthy. As both of us are disabled, this was an especially distressing experience. The bathroom towels were so thin they were nearly transparent, and the bedding was worn out with noticeable pilling.
