We stayed 3 nights: 2 in El Segundo and 1 in El Primero. We actually liked the shelter of El Segundo a little better, but both were excellent - VERY clean, VERY comfortable …. My wife says “nicer than a motel room!” The road in and out was easily passable, the bathrooms were really clean and kept up well. We even got to visit with the owners on Saturday afternoon when they came for a routine maintenance visit! The futon sleeper was more comfortable than I was expecting. When we had trouble unlocking the door (because we didn’t re-read the instructions) we got an immediate response. Tucked away in a private, quiet, and truly beautiful location, it offered an unparalleled escape. The night sky was simply unbelievable – a blanket of what felt like a billion stars.The yurt itself is a marvel, equipped with everything you could possibly need and surprisingly spacious, never feeling cramped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pull out sofa was too guaranteeing a restful night. We were particularly impressed by the spotless shower and bathroom area, and the incinerating toilet was a brilliant, eco-friendly touch!Unfortunately, our stay was cut short by an unexpected dust storm that closed the interstate, preventing us from reaching the yurt for one of our planned nights. While disappointing, it only fueled our desire to return and enjoy a few more nights in this magical spot.John is an exceptional host; the booking process was seamless, and communication was excellent throughout. An added bonus? It's dog-friendly, so your fur babies can join in the fun! If you're seeking a unique, comfortable, and cozy getaway under an awe-inspiring celestial display, look no further.
