We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy Welcome guidebook in the house full of dining options, things to do, shopping, hiking and waterfall trails... Wineries with live music events and tastings are abundant. And a short 25 min drive to the Bavarian themed town of
Helen for tubing or zip lining.
There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters... The fellas will help you out! All kinds of water toys too like jet skis, standup paddle boards, kayaks.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks the lake below and provides picturesque mountain views. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Trailheads of the Appalachian Trail, which spans from Georgia to Maine, are less than 10 miles from this home.
Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

Property features two Bedrooms on Main Level, Master King with attached Bath (walk-in shower & jetted tub), TV. Open floor plan, and large windows to enjoy the views. Second Queen bedroom. A second full bathroom (tub/shower) on main level. Lower Level has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 Twins), bath (tub/shower),
Enjoy the entire home plus yard and covered dock with swim platform.
Fully equipped kitchen. Dishes. Silverware. Pots & pans. Drip Coffee Maker. Microwave. electric griddle, blender, toaster, crock pot, hand Mixer.
Outside trash cans on bottom level in front of garage. ALL garbage and debris must be in secured bags and placed in trash can.
TV Service is a streaming service and there is an app on all of the tv's "youtube tv" that has over 85 live tv channels. Additionally there is an app for Netflix, Hulu etc that guests can log into their own accounts.
Remember to log out of your accounts before you leave the property.
Specifically, parking in the upper drive is limited to 2 cars. The easiest way to back out of the upper drive way is to back straight out onto the road, and back up the driveway adjacent to the lower drive.
No smoking!
Quiet time is from 10pm-9am. Thanks for respecting our neighbors!

#### A beautiful retreat
Our group of ladies really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The beds were comfy, and access to the lake was easy. With such a beautiful lake, and seating along the back deck, we enjoyed the water views. We visited the nearby winery and had a fun tiki boat excursion. We give this home our recommendation.

#### Fantastic relaxing trip to the lake!
Our stay at the Lake Chatuge Lake House was fantastic! The breathtaking lake view and fully stocked kitchen were highlights. We loved the fire-pit and hot tub, and each bedroom facing the lake was a great touch. The afternoon shade on the patio, two paddle boards, and kayak were wonderful additions. The high-quality towels, linens, and cozy seating areas made our family time even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning!

Fantastic view. Very impressive. House could use some more drinking glasses, coffee mugs and wine glasses. And they might consider getting some of the above mentioned glasses in plastic so you can use outside without worrying about breaking them. And they definitely need to speak to the neighbor who has the dog that barks 24/7\. Very annoying for the people trying to sleep on that side of the house.

#### Just what we needed!!
We loved the house and found it to be exactly what we were looking for! I met five of my best friends from high school here and it was perfect. All of us had a comfortable place to sleep and there were plenty of places to sit together inside and outside. Property manager was quick to respond when one of the paddle boards was missing a fin and it was fixed immediately. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipt. Grocery store, Starbucks, and Dunkin donuts close by. The only complaints/suggestions that I heard all week were that the chairs down at the dock need to be replaced. Both had cracks and were breaking. And I heard sometime say that they wished there were lake towels there to use. All that was available were bath towels. To be clear, there were plenty of towels... Just didn't like using bath towels after getting out of the lake. Those are the only negative comments I heard from anyone the whole time. Lovely, cozy place. We would definitely come back again.

From the initial contact, everything went smoothly. The home had a wonderful layout. The outdoor seating was very enjoyable. Had access to the boating equipment and fire pit. However, we did not used them on this visit. The only drawback is the number of people who can stay in the home.

Had a wonderful stay at Sunnyside Shores with my husband and adult children and 3 grandbabies. Would definitely stay again! Beautiful spot on the lake. Comfortable beds! A little tricky finding the house once you turn into the neighborhood but we managed. Had a great time!

Great vacation spot with a fantastic view of the lake. House was clean and well kept with nice amenities. Great rental and would definitely book again.

We were looking for something in the mountains and on a lake. We sure found exactly what we were looking for!!! The home was beautiful and stocked with everything we could possibly need!!

#### Wonderful Mountain House!!
This house was perfect for our family of 4 for a mountain getaway. It’s a great location for day trips and so much to do nearby. We loved exploring the waterfalls and wineries. The house was clean and spacious with beautiful views of the lake and mountains
