Hiawassee’s remarkable mountains and unabashed beauty welcome all outdoor enthusiasts at this 3-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental cabin. With 2,000 square feet of living space, three spacious decks, mountain and lake views, and room for up to 6 guests, this home is truly a mountain paradise. Enjoy a day at Lake Chatuge, hike the Appalachian Mountains, or swim underneath gorgeous waterfalls. If the outdoor adventures have worn you out, head back home to enjoy the fire pit on the luxurious back porch or enjoy an afternoon grilling out on the master BBQ grill!

Enjoy the serenity and seclusion of this rustic mountain cabin, set amidst mountain views and forested surroundings. As soon as you step inside, unpack and make yourself right at home amidst the vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and rustic decor.
If you can’t keep your eyes off the mountains, the best view is on the back deck. On those warm summer days, you’ll love grilling up a barbecue feast for your loved ones before dining under the stars.
When the weather isn’t fairing, you’ll have everything you need amidst the cabin’s 2,000 square feet of living space. Curl up in the front of one of the 2 fireplaces with a new book or watch a favorite movie on one of the flat-screen satellite TVs.
Whenever hungers strikes, whip up a quick snack or a hearty meal in the fully equipped kitchen. While you’ll want to enjoy most of your meals out on the deck, you’ll also find a small 2-person table and 6-person dining table right off the kitchen.
Come nighttime, settle into one of 3 well-appointed bedrooms. When you wake up ready to seize the day, step back onto the deck to sip a morning coffee as the sunrise paints the mountains in golden hues.

This was the perfect place for our family. Close to Helen and other activities. 3 levels so each family had their own room and bathroom. It was very well stocked with everything we needed.

Great rustic decor through out.

This is a beautiful home! Decorated very tastefully throughout. Very private basement area. Not the best set up for small children or elderly. Stairs are steep. No yard space to play. There is a good bit of road noise when sitting on porch but the lake view is very relaxing! Overall a great place!!

This is the perfect, cozy getaway with more than enough room to accommodate a large group. The view of the trees and the lake were amazing and the patio and balcony are the perfect places to gather at night to take in the view.

Excellent location and beautiful cabin

Lovely view of the lake but the highway noise is really loud, making outdoor time very limited. The cabin was perfect for our needs, although had I known that only 1 bedroom was on the main level and the other 2 required stairs, I might have passed. Some of our elderly friends had a very hard time navigating this many stairs. We loved that it was so close to town, accessible to everything we wanted. Decorated and maintained beautifully. I would not hesitate to rent this again with my family. If you have a group of seniors who have difficulty with stairs, then this may not be the place for you but it is perfect for younger couples, families, and other groups without mobility issues. The downstairs was like having another home altogether with a dining and living room in addition to the bedroom and bath- what a wonderful bonus!

Brew, Stew and Que Festival weekend.

Stopped in Helen for lunch and some walking, checked into the house and went back to Helen for the evening festivities. about 16 mountain miles and 30 minutes ride each way. Saturday we went to the B, S & Q fest at the fairgrounds. went back to the house to relax for a few then went back to the fairgrounds for the 38 Special show, both at the fairgrounds about 1.3 miles away. Great location will consider again.

Happy Top

Out of all the houses we have rented over the past 10 years, Happy Top was the most well equipped of any. There wasn't a thing we needed. Everything was provided. The house was clean and neat. If there was a problem with something, the Landlord immediately addressed it and had the problem resolved. The area is just a mile outside of town and very convenient. I highly recommend this house.

Relaxing and peaceful

We loved our stay at Happy Top and wished we could have stayed longer. The house was very cozy and the layout was perfect for us as our son and girlfriend stayed downstairs where there is a separate living room and private full bath while my wife and I were on the main floor.. The view from the back porch was great. They even had Toto toilets. In fact we may return someday.

From the moment you pull up, you can already tell this place is special. The amazing view of the sunsets behind the mountain will take your breath away. Many hiking places in the area! Helen is not too far either. The house itself is extremely clean and items accessible if needed! Hope to be back soon!

Family time in the North Georgia Mountains

The property was just as described and perfect for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed playing cards at the kitchen table, chilling out on the porch and watching a movie. We visited the beautiful pristine Leatherwood Falls in Hayesville NC and took a trip up Bell Mountain fur the overlook. The drive up is very narrow but we managed and enjoyed the amazing view. The cabin was perfect for us 4 adults and location was great.

AMAZING!!

Happy Top is an amazing property with fabulous views. My husband and I rent houses often and this by far is the most well stocked house we have ever stayed in. The description of items available is well written but does not do it justice. (Sorry Jackie!) For example---the description says hair dryer---not just one---there is one in every bathroom in the house. We had snow and icy conditions and Jackie messaged me to make sure we know where the snow shovel and ice melt was located to ensure we stayed safe.

Wow. Amazing house.

Glad these owners have this property for rent. Amazing view to the lake from the balcony. Zero issues with house. Just be aware of single lane street leading to this house. No biggie for me even with my dually. Huge kitchen and plenty of room. Living room has an electric fireplace (one button on, one button off). Short drive to anything you require.
