« This place has the worst bed bug infestation I’ve ever seen in my life and I used to live in NYC. The staff had clearly been told this before and didn’t care. They refused to refund me even though I only spent an hour there and offered to give me a gift certificate for another stay, but I will never set foot in there again and would recommend you avoid it at all costs. The staff are well aware of the infestation and DO NOT CARE that it will spread to anyone who stays there. DO NOT STAY HERE. »

« I feel bad giving this review as it seems like a family is trying to run this place and they were very nice but in way over their heads. Our room smelled terrible including the bathroom smelling like urine. The owner was very accommodating and switched rooms. The place had a dank smell, areas smelled like cigarettes, and hallways needed to be vacuumed. « Not that it was a bad issue but the pool was being remodeled and was closed. So my wife decided to use the jet tub in the king suite. The jets did not work and black flaky stuff came out of the tubes. Overall it was a great stay and the staff was great. I cannot remember her name, but she was the hostess/waitress in the restaurant for breakfast and she was great! Very kind and helpful! Appreciated that very much. »

« The grounds are very pleasant. I needed to change original room due to very strong musty smell as well as super strong varnish odor. Owners were very quick to offer another room. So I do feel satisfied with that. Not the cleanest but was very affordable compared to other places in the area. I guess I got what I paid for. But I wouldn’t stay again. »

« Way too hot in the hotel (81 degrees on the thermostat in the breakfast room). Staff walking around barefoot, room not well cleaned (hair in the corners on bathroom floor upon arrival, dirty looking tub, missed some obvious things when vacuuming).
