Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath Log Home with Sandy Beach & Expansive Lake Views!!

This charming log home is on Lizard Creek at Lake Gaston. With expansive views of the lake, it sits on almost 1 acre with plenty of space for outdoor games. This immaculate home includes a spacious outdoor deck that is partially covered and has a ping pong table for your use and enjoyment! Also provided are corn hole, frisbee golf (bring your own disks), 4 kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets. Go swimming, fishing or play on the large, natural sandy beach! There is handicap access into the home. Step inside and you will find an open floor plan that is completely renovated and exquisitely decorated. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the master bathroom has a walk in shower and a large jetted tub. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have queen size beds. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with a smart TV. The kitchen is open to the dining and great room which has cathedral ceilings, an amazing lake view and a wide screen smart TV. There are several ceiling fans inside and out. The laundry room has a long counter and cabinets for storing groceries. There is a picnic table and charcoal grill perfect for your outdoor barbecues! The boathouse has a covered area great for relaxing or enjoy the open area for sunning. The water depth is about 6 to 7 feet. There is a 2nd refrigerator in the boat house for your use. Renter may dock their boat on either side of the boat house or use the boat lifts at your own risk (2800 pounds is max weight on boat lift). Owner is not responsible for any damage to tenants watercraft.

Another memorable family time staying in this beautiful home. It is just perfect for our family. Its our 5th year staying and we hope to stay many more. Thank you for allowing us to share in your beautiful home. The handicap ramp is a plus for my mother in law and our jet skis love the lift. Couldnt have asked for better weather See ya next year. Absolutely amazing

We had a fabulous week! The kids had a blast swimming off the dock, fishing, kayaking and looking for shells. The yard was great for when they wanted to run and play instead of swimming or tubing. The house was clean and the views are amazing. We look forward to coming back again!

Third time is the charm

This is our third time here. We always enjoy the home and dock. Each time we’ve come at different time of the year, and we still catch plenty of fish and relax at the dock If you come make sure you take a short trip to the nearby bakery you won’t be disappointed 😊

More memories made

This was our 4th year staying at your beautiful home. We have made so many lasting family memories. The house was super fresh and clean when we walked in. Carpets freshly vaccumed and loved the sanitation strip in bathroom. This house has everything we need and more. My in laws love the porch where they can sit all day with shade and watch us play in the water and ride jet skis. The neighvors are also super sweet. We cant wait for next year. We will be booking soon. Ohhh and our adult daughter and boyfriend loved ping pong. The host is also always helpful and answers quickly to any concerns. Our favorite time of year

Amazing

This is a beautiful lakefront home. For handicapped, it’s totally accessible with ramp into home, wide doorways, easy access to deck, & gentle slope to lake. Only suggestion would be a walkway to dock as the ground is naturally uneven making it dangerous if you have balance problems. I used my scooter & it was wonderful. Lois is a perfect host who gave us her cell & responded to texts immediately. This is our 2nd year & love it so much, we will return next summer. Thanks another wonderful vacation with many lovely memories,

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake

We just finished a wonderful week long stay with a mixture of family and friends. The house was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. You can tell that a lot of love went into this home. We spent a lot of time outside on the back porch and down at the dock. There were only two downsides to this house. The kitchen was covered in ants. We tried our best to get rid of them with sprays and cleaners, but they came back as fast as we got rid of them. The other thing was we could not figure out how to get the back porch fans on. The owner gave us suggestions when we reached out but we still couldn’t figure it out. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Otter wins the lottery

We spent a lot of time kayaking and fishing off the pier. The tiny sunnies sacrificed themselves for the greater cause... that is landing several catfish, a few over the 15lb range. Caught several bass as well from the dock. The only hiccup was the catfish we put on a stringer as we had enough fish for a meal. In the morning he was stripped to the bone.... About a 10 pound catfish, stripped by a 6-7 pound otter. OF course we were his best friend from then on. We took the carcass off the stringer and Otto entertained us for a fewew days chewing on the skeleton. QUite unafraid of the humans on the dock. I suspect he supplements his living with handouts from the tourists. Alls well that end well..... Brother and sister in law headed back to Vt. We had a couple fish fries.

Great views and location

The good; the views are amazing. The mattresses are all very comfortable. The home is spacious and laid out very well. There is plenty of parking for trailers and cars. The refrigerator at the boat house is very very useful. The not so good... It is a great property but the windows looking out at lake need to be cleaned and house needs to be Powe washed and sprayed for spiders. There are spider webs every ware. The boat house is great but both lifts are in need or service. If you are staying and the boat lift is a must understand they may not be available due to need of maintenance. The ad does say use them at your own risk which is fine as long as they work. The couches need to vacuumed/cleaned as well as under the couches needs attention and cleaning.

Relaxing at the lake

Loved the property! Very well-stocked comfortable home on a premier site! Especially enjoyed having breakfast on the covered porch while watching blue herons fish from our yard. Also saw eagles and egrets.

Amazing!!!!!

House was super clean when we arrived with fresh vaccumed carpets and fresh smell. The boathouse is my favorite spot to watch the action of the lake. We had our jet ski for the first time this year and the boat lift was a bonus. My in laws love the outside porch which has shade all day. The host is always fast and friendly with any questions you have. Already booked for next year. Its my favorite week of the summer. Another family vacation full of fun, memories and relaxation

This has to be one of the best rentals on Lake Gaston! The view is beautiful and Lois is a wonderful host. She is so prompt in answering any questions. We have already booked this place again for next year.

Family Lake Vacation

We loved how close the water was to the house! The kids could play in the sand, stand in the water and play or jump off the dock. Its the perfect house if you want to relax and not just swim all the time.

Perfect lake vacation

Great lake house in a quite busy cove. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great AC. Location is perfect, just a few minutes from grocery store and restaurants. Hope to come back!

Perfect home for mobility challenged

This is a beautiful home & property. For mobility challenged it is perfect. Easy to get in, layout is open, & recline to beach easy to navigate. Furniture & beds all extremely comfortable. So many toys for kids & adults to enjoy both on land & in water. Lois is so accessible & responds immediately. Only 2 negatives during an entire week: 1. You do have to bring sheets & make beds which was annoying after a long drive & difficult when kids are exhausted & needed to go to bed. 2 . Bed in master is high so difficult to get on fo me with mobility struggles. That said, we loved it so much, will be returning next summer! All pictures & description are exactly as it really is. Thanks for a great vacation!
