Ultra Modern, Very Unique Open Floor La Bellavista is a contemporary mountain home that was specially designed and custom-built in the celebrated Laurel Park area of Hendersonville. Soak in the Blue Ridge Mountains in this luxuriously detailed home that boasts an ultra-modern design for comfortable living. Start your day by sipping coffee or tea on one of the two covered decks with beautiful teak flooring. You'll delight in the sound of birds chirping while you relish the pleasant summers and mild winters of historic Hendersonville, North Carolina. Close down your day by walking a couple of hundred feet to Jump Off Rock, which is located adjacent to the home. Jump Off Rock has three easy hiking trails and a long-range view of four states. This one-of-a-kind vacation home was professionally designed with the perfect blend of classic mountain touches and a state-of-the-art modern flair. Raul, the owner and builder, worked closely with his architect to ensure that every detail was carefully considered, creating a vacation home that will be cherished memories for years to come. Enter the main floor of the home, where you'll find a spacious open-plan living area consisting of a living room, kitchen, and nook. On this floor, you will find a guest bedroom equipped with a queen bed and a complete bathroom. The designer utilized lots of large glass windows and doors to create the natural feeling of being outdoors while enjoying the comfort of indoors. The entire second floor encompasses the stunning primary suite and a private covered deck with long-range spring/fall/winter views. The trees are protected, so the summer long-range views are instead beautiful views of some of WNC's native mountain trees. Over 1,300 square feet of elegance with a sumptuous king bed, a private living room, an in-wall gas fireplace, and a dream bathroom with a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, double sinks, and tons of closet/storage space. For your convenience, there is a very large covered carport that is big enough for four cars/trucks or an RV. Plenty of other parking as well. We invite you to experience La Bellvista on your next trip to the ancient Blue Ridge Mountains. Small dogs welcome (under 30lbs), sorry no cats or big dogs at the request of the owner. And sitting on the beautiful back decks—well, it was just what we needed. The home is very peaceful and private. We have already recommended it to our friends! The location is a bit tricky—lots of twists and turns to get there. We would not feel comfortable doing it at night. However, getting up that mountain is what gives you the views, especially at Jump Off Rock, which is a very short walk away. All in all, a great stay. The furnishings are comfortable, the location is beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped. Our first day, the weather was rainy and we were fogged in, and being on the top of the mountain surrounded by bare trees was so starkly beautiful that we just enjoyed being in the house all day, watching football and enjoying the view. The neighborhood is very quiet, and Jump Off Rock is just around the corner. It was 20 degrees a couple of nights, and we left the thermostat at 66 and were extremely comfortable. Just a great house, luxurious but comfortable. You will need your GPS to get to town and back, but these are neighborhood roads, not gravel mountain tracks so it’s an easy drive.
