The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Parking is available in front of the house. Take a short 10 mins drive to jones beach and nearby restaurant. Hop to Manhattan with a 45 minute train ride using the long island railroad conveniently located 8 mins from the house. It’s very convenient to my husband’s family. Just a few small things to mention. The curtain on the door kept falling down, there was a little dust on the lamp in the bedroom and the folks upstairs were a bit loud for two of the three nights we were there. But otherwise it’s a great place to stay. Isnstructions for getting we’re clear and easy to follow. The bathroom is fantastic with its big shower and loads of fluffy towels. The galley kitchen is well equipped with a microwave and a stove top. There is a filtered water pitcher in the fridge.
