I followed the instruction to open the key box but there was no key inside the key box. I tried to call to the number online and it was saying number unavailable. I waited with our luggage’s for about 1hour didn’t know what to do. Then i called to the number at the door, the manager came about 20 mins later to open the door for us. She was very kind and friendly and apologised for what happened. The room was suitable for one person stay with a single bed. The entrance was indeed a bit dangerous, where there is a wooden platform placed on top of the stairs, i think the purpose is to ease rolling the luggage. But it was a bit unstable, so it is not so suitable for elderly people to walk on the platform to the room. The walls in the building are a bit thin, we found water in the water cattle that had apparently been there for a while and we could not for the life of us turn off the heater in the bathroom. When we checked into the hotel we noticed that it wasn't as clean as we would have liked it to be. There were strands of hair from the previous occupants still on the pillow cases and odd stains on the bed and sheets. The kettle that was left available was also not functional and we noticed a distinctive smoke smell on the towels. When I reached out to customer service with my concerns, they said they would look into and never followed up. I've reached out to them again and they still haven't responded. I would say staying at this place definitely put a damper on our time in Helsinki. ##### Janani.
