« The accommodation was fine. Perfectly adequate. What was annoying is that my debit card was charged an additional amount, above the Expedia price, on the day I arrived. I pointed this out and as told it was a mistake and it would be refunded. It still hasn't been, 6 weeks later, and my emails/telephone calls go unanswered. Not good, Polochar Inn. Not good. »

« The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities. »
