Welcome to Evening Shadows Retreat at Holly Lake! Your home away from home. Evening Shadows Retreat at Holly Lake is a beautiful 3-bedroom (3rd bedroom is an office), 2-bath home on one acre located in the premier gated community of Holly Lake Ranch. Nestled in the woods with minimal traffic, this retreat provides a serene and peaceful environment. The living room features a chaise lounge sofa that converts to a queen-size pull-out bed. Although we don't have cable TV, you can still log in to all your favorite apps. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and stainless-steel appliances you need. It also includes a 12-cup coffee maker bar fully stocked with coffee syrups and drizzles. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably, with 4 additional bar stools available at the kitchen island. The laundry room provides a full-size washer and dryer, as well as an ironing board with an iron. Enjoy the outdoor entertainment area featuring a beautiful fireplace and comfortable seating. Cook your favorite meals on the outdoor grill (propane provided). Additionally, there are 2 kayaks available for use at Holly Lake or nearby Tyler State Park. For some backyard fun, a cornhole set is also available for your enjoyment. Within 24 hours of booking, guests must provide information to the host as required by security: name on driver’s license, age, address, and telephone number. Upon arrival, you will first go to the 24-hour security drive-through window, present a valid driver’s license, and receive a gate pass. The gate pass opens security gates during your stay. The home sits in a natural wooded area, not the city. You may encounter deer, raccoons, birds, snakes, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, and other assorted bugs. Use common sense, stay alert when outdoors, and wear bug spray. We treat for bugs, spiders, and ticks in the yard, so it should be minimal. Please do not feed the deer or other wildlife. In addition to the amenities offered at Evening Shadows Retreat, you have access to all the amenities in this beautiful, wooded resort, including: Swimming pool, Golf course, Gym, Fishing in private lakes, Mini golf, Pickleball, Tennis courts, Volleyball, Horseshoe, Hiking, On-site restaurant! Important Notes: No Smoking, No Pets. By not following the rules at Holly Lake Ranch (outlined in the welcome book), you may be issued a ticket, which you will be responsible for paying. You are provided with an access card that will get you into the pool and gym area. If you lose the card, you will be responsible for the replacement. Access to the entire home (except the sheds & garage). Yard care is scheduled every two weeks. I reserve the right to send a repairman or security in case of an emergency such as leaking water, fire, backup sewer, or any other type of an emergency situation.
