Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and it’s very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. The roads going in and out are covered in sand instead of rock, which made for interesting driving, but it wasn’t a problem. ##### ELIZABETH S. We went fishing at a local lake, dined at local restaurants and were able to just fix our own in the convenient kitchen. Dual recliners, comfy bed. The hosts were very friendly and sweet. We had a very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious little cabin. My husband and I liked that this was a Christian owned location. It was noted that the owners wanted to Glorify GOD and it was just that! We will be planning another getaway here for sure! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Maxson for a wonderful place to enjoy for our 24th anniversary. ##### Krystal M.
