![Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia.  It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere!

 In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there!

And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). "We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hotel is modern and clean, the stuff is friendly and polite, and the breakfast was tasty. Pool & SPA are ensuring good relaxation, although a +1\~2°C in the pool would make it even better. Only one thing that is a little bit exaggerated = parking fee."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Aplend Kamzak apartments. Check in was smooth and fast, and we received a comfortable apartment with separate bedroom as booked. It had a small kitchenette, so we also could prepare some or our own meals. Cleaning is only once during your stay, but you can book extra cleaning for a fee. The attached restaurant served a good breakfast and we also had a nice dinner there. The village of Smokovec is small and everything is closeby, a small supermarket within 5...
