![Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia.  It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere!

 In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there!

And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). "The hotel is in a perfect location centre of town but just nestled away so it feels secluded. Staff ate super attentive. The food if phenominal! The room was spacious and had all amenities needed. This was the second time we have stayed at Aries as it had such a gpof impression the first time. Very close the local slopes and a short drive or bus ride to others nearby. They have a ski/bike rental shop linked to the hotel which we used and they were a good price and very chilled. Best hotel i have ever stayed at! Also the spa is perfect. "

"A good hotel overall and I would rate it around 4\*. The staff were lovely, especially the reception team, who were very welcoming. The same level of friendliness wasn’t always reflected by the housekeeping team, but overall the service was still good. Breakfast was a real highlight — very enjoyable — and the water machines on each floor offering unlimited sparkling, cold, or room-temperature water were a great touch. One thing to note is that the spa and facilities close at 12 each day, which we weren’t aware of in advance, and they also fully close by 9pm in the evening. Additionally, as there were quite a few families with children staying, areas like the gym and spa/swimming facilities could feel a bit busier at times. This may be worth considering if you’re looking for a quieter, more adult-focused environment. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the view of Giewont from our room. The location of the hotel is excellent — within walking distance of the bus and train stations, as well as the main street, Krupówki.."

"This was my 6th stay at the hotel and it might have been the last one. They are expanding and building a huge aqua park within the hotel premises, which once finished will be great BUT I paid 1,500 pln per night in the hotel and was exposed to heavy machinery and construction noises from 6am in the morning all the way till 10pm. Non stop noise! No mention of it at the check it by the hotel staff, paid extra for room with a view of the Tatra Mountains and got extra noise with my money instead! The construction will continue till the 2028, just saying… really disappointed!"

"Ogolnie hotel jest cześcia Bachleda resort wiec podczas rezerwacji moze to być mylące. Pokoje wygodne jednak wygladem odstają od aktulanych czasów - dawnonnie spotkałem lamp ze świetlówkami w łazience. Generalnie przydałby się remont. Poza tym wszystko super, jedzebie pycha "
