Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. However, we were surprised that some basic amenities were not provided. For example, there is a coffee machine but no filters (maybe a French press would be better - no need for filters). Also no large bowl for salad and nothing that can go in the oven (baking tray, casseroles). No dishwasher tabs or dish soap or dish towel, but they do expect guests to do the dishes. The dishwasher takes hours, making it impossible to do dishes and put them away (as requested) after breakfast but before checkout. We'll be aware for next time, but it would have been good to have more communication about this. Also when we arrived we were given an apartment that hadn't been cleaned. They quickly gave us a different one that was clean, but unfortunately didn't have as nice a view as the original one given to us. Hotel accepts dogs. The spa isn't attached, you need to have dressing gown or slippers! Only two changing rooms so easier to go back to room. It's a little tired but early mornings and just after lunch practically empty before the skiiers return! Reception was a little surly but the restaurant menu and staff were excellent. Value for money, don't be put off by the cafe basic entrance. Rooms have been renovated, large king size bed, walk in shower. A bit tight for space but for one or two nights, comfortable sleep and hot water.
