Come stay with us at Pirates Wake, which is part of the highly desired Villas of Hatteras Landing community! Right near the Hatteras-Ocracoke Ferry terminal as well as shops and local eateries, you will love the quaint feel of this hotel style community. Close to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and only about 12 miles from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, you will love the surf and sand feel as you stay at the end of the Route 12S highway. In Hatteras, you will find fisherman, sea-frosted homes and independent methods for living life to the fullest. Make your way to Cape Hatteras National Seashore ORV Ramp 55 and catch some rays and surf at the beach! Or if you prefer, spend a day at the expansive outdoor community pool which is feet away from your room! Later on, you can walk on the walkway to the marina and explore the scenery. With a king bed and queen-sized sleeper sofa, this cozy one-bedroom condo can accommodate up to four guests with ease. Throughout the interior, pictures of sea-life have been hung to remind vacationers of the nautical history that is prolific throughout the OBX and particularly prevalent in Hatteras. Flat screen TVs adorn both the living room and bedroom to allow for comfy relaxation after a great day at the beach! Step outside on your deck off of the bedroom and enjoy a cup of coffee while you enjoy the sounds of wildlife and the smell of the salty air. The bed was comfortable but there was only a sheet and heavy comforter. Needed a lightweight blanket. The soap dispensers in bathroom didnt work very well. Our room was on the second floor. There is no elevator and the concrete steps and landing were painted the same light gray color. The sun was in my eyes going down and I missed the last step and fell down the steps. I would recommend putting a yellow strip on edge of steps so they can be easily seen. We couldn't get the tv in the bedroom to work. It was a Fire tv and wanted me to sign into my Amazon account so we never watched tv because there were no instructions. ##### Debbie B.
