"Lovely stay in a Japanese style hotel. We are travelling around Japan and this is the only traditional hotel we have stayed in. We loved the experience of slippers on arrival, yukata robe for dinner, futons transforming our tatami room to a bedroom, traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Super helpful staff for us novices!"

"This place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday. The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer. If you stay here, come hungry to every dinner!"

"Great service from the staff and room (432) was the nicest i have stayed in over 21 years visiting Japan. This is a traditional style Japanese Hotel so no shoes but well worth the stay. Highly recommended and a must over ight stay if visiting Miyajima !"

"Great Onsen and bedrock sauna on 9th floor and outside tub and room very good. Breakfast and dinner included buffet style not very good but it is optional, not many options nearby. Located in a residential area, high on a hill overlooking the bay so good views but not convenient."

"This is an older, but well-maintained property. The rooms are much bigger and better equipped than the equivalently-priced business or tourist hotel. No restaurant, but very reasonably priced meals can be ordered in the room, mainly through a Japanese-only TV system. Staff were very helpful with extra towels, parking issues, and meals were delivered punctually at the requested time. "We loved the place. Very clean and modern. We wanted to do laundry, but we never managed to turn on the washing machine. And, in the bathroom I suggest putting shelves on the wall so you can store bathrooms personal items. The rest was magnificent!!!"
